Adolescent visitation hours are not listed anywhere, but I just called in to get more information. Make sure you have a PIN code for the person you are inquiring about for legal purposes. (HIPAA) Otherwise visitation hours are Tuesdays and Thursday's ONLY from 4pm-5pm. Last Names starting with A-L are on Tuesdays only, M-Z are Thursdays Only. Hope this helps others to avoid long commutes, only to be turned away at the front desk.
I was here for about 2 months back in 2022 when i was 16 and in DCS custody (Forced me to go in) People always tell me how horrible this place is and how they come out worse than before, but me personally 0 problems inside of here just mind your own business and try to get out ASAP. Saint Lukes and Quail run is def 20x worse than ending up here.
It was alright I was admitted there November of 2022. It isn't necessarily always "safe" but you'll be perfectly fine if you don't start problems. The groups never really happened but bhts and staff provided really good advice and empathy in a not super common way
I self admitted a few weeks ago I knew I needed help. The reviews honestly scared me so bad I almost didn't want to get help but I knew it would be worse if I didn't get help. I took the chance and came in to oasis. Admission took about 7 hours on a Saturday afternoon I called before I came in. I stayed there about 6 days. It was my first stay at a behavioral hospital. Many of the staff really made a impact on me the kindness they showed me and encouragement meant a lot. Special shout out to Lucy and all the people in the Re... read more
Idk where all these negatives reviews are coming from Everyone there was nice and helpful ESPECIALLY ARIANA the nurse . She is the best
My daughter was there recently. The staff there is very knowledgeable and really helped her. She feels as though it may have saved her life. I'm giving this a 3 star review because they have serious breakdowns in communication in regards to doctors calling parents and also the same with the social workers there. It was like pulling teeth to get them to call or answer the phone. That isn't ok when I've trusted your behavioral health center with my daughter of whom I can only see for an hour and only on specific days. Other th... read more
Having just left inpatient ( "Sage" unit ), I can honestly say that this facility is really hit or miss. Meals, rooms etc are obviously very basic and bare-boned, but staff here really excel at what they do, and work pretty hard to make sure you're needs are met. Jason ( social worker ) is a great person and works with efficiency to help people out. The gym is nice, and sometimes we even do groups outside. Is it Las Encinas? Not quite, but it gets the job done as far as psych facilities are concerned. Happy Yelping! :)
