Hire more help! A phone system that works! I'm an RN, grandson is at this facility! I'm beside myself on how this place can operate! A few days ago I was ready to call the police for a wellness check because I could not get a hold of anyone Social Worker Nurses, no one! I've tried six times this morning with one sweet nurse answered, but she was on the wrong unit! She gave me the extensions to the Agave unit and no one still answers the phone. I rated this horrific place with 1 star because I couldn't do 0. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD OR ANY LOVED ONE HERE! My son was sexually assaulted and physically assaulted by 2 different patients. The night staff never checked on him once. Another patient snuck into my son's room and sexually assaulted him. These "techs" that work at night obviously don't check on anyone! Never again. My first time and it was a nightmare. If you need help please don't go here. Banner was way better. You had to ask nurses a lot of times for anything. The staff was all from around Africa and you couldn't understood them. They were mean and controlling. I got waken up at 3 am to let me know I had too many blankets. It was freezing in there and not comfortable. They also have the beacons that are attached to your have they have to scan every 15 minutes. This facility needs to be reported & closed. I was there for one night and checked myself out early the next morning. I could give a list. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I got up in the night to use the restroom. When I turned on the light, there was a minimum of 10 live cockroaches scurrying around on the floor. My diamond earrings were stolen. If you'd more detailed information please don't hesitate to contact me. I wouldn't take my dog there let alone a loved one. Proceed with caution.

I was here on the BHIF side. I was there when all those kids got arrested. They didn't include much about what happened. A kid got raped by another patient. They left us out on the courtyard and it was 110 plus degrees. They refused to give us water. A kid had an epileptic seizure and the cops threatened to pepper spray us to help them. Kids had also broken into the med cabinet and were actively overdosing. They did nothing. All the staff had left when the alarms were pulled. I came to Oasis because I was having severe panic attacks, uncontrollable shaking, and couldn't eat for several days. I had never sought mental health treatment before and only wanted someone to talk to and possibly medication. Instead, I was convinced to admit myself for a few days. My son was admitted on a Sunday... and told Tuesday he would be discharged on Friday. Communication from the family was awful. Was advised I would receive a call every 24 hours with updates. Received two calls. You can never get ahold of anyone to get updates or talk to your child. I brought extra clothes. Took 2 days for him to receive them. They sat behind the desk the whole time. I highly DON'T recommend going here. The adolescent ward I was on had awful patients. I was witnessing multiple attacks on other patients and had been horrified about my stay there, but the staff were one of the most kindest people there.
