My son was admitted on a Sunday... and told Tuesday he would be discharged on Friday. Communication from the family was awful. Was advised I would receive a call every 24 hours with updates. Received two calls. You can never get ahold of anyone to get updates or talk to your child. I brought extra clothes. Took 2 days for him to receive them. They sat behind the desk the whole time. The case worker was terrible. Told me he had a huge case load and couldnt get to everything. He scheduled two meetings and was over 30 min lat... read more
I highly DON'T recommend going here. The adolescent ward I was on had awful patients. I was witnessing multiple attacks on other patients and had been horrified about my stay there, but the staff were one of the most kindest people there.
I'm pretty young and i was sent here from mind 24-7, i came for depression and my visit here was not okay at all, first they barley let me call my parents, they have a scheduled time for calls but i waited every time just for them to tell me no every single time. and they always blamed it on other patients behaviors. the nurse who watches the patients was also very unprofessional, its kinda like she influenced bad language and behavior to the patients. overall the whole time everyone was rude all the workers had attitude. no... read more
PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!!!!!!!! I will give one star because I know for certain that 2 people did try to help me and my family during the 8 days my child was at the Chandler location (Griselda in billing and Courtney one of the counselors). I would post all my complaints & my experience but it too long! As a company, however, they do not deserve even a partial star. Their lack of accountability, consideration, respect, empathy, and customer service was less than acceptable given the industry and the fragile individuals they are... read more
Oasis Mental Health Hospital should be closed permanently. The staff was undertrained and unable to adequately resolve situations that arise in mental health hospitals. While I was there as a voluntary-admitted patient, I witnessed many concerning things. For example, the day I was admitted the air conditioning was broken. I was admitted in July. They sequestered all adult patients to the gymnasium where multiple physical and verbal altercations occurred. Witnessing physical altercations was very distressing to someone... read more
As someone who has been to this facility over 5 times, and has been on the residential side for 9+ months, I'm here to say that this place was the worst hospital I have ever been placed in. The first time I was placed in a psychiatric ward was when I was 11. They first wrongly diagnosed me with schizophrenia, then gave me a high starting dosage of a medication not frequently used within the age range I was in at the time. They dropped my medication the second time I had came back, proceeded to change it, then gave me 3 more ... read more
I had a friend who went here. Absolutely fucking horrible. She was sexually assaulted in this facility and no guards did anything. DO. NOT. GO. HERE.
No anxiety or panic attack therapy at all. Although one day we went to the music room and banged plastic tubes and another day we played tic tac toe with some tiny pony's . Nobody could figure out what was happening and then one of the staff took a patient out for asking questions and why we were doing this. She was pissed!! We mostly watched Tv, went to breakfast, lunch and dinner breaks ... oh and smoke breaks. Yep! The place actually buys the cigarettes and hands them out after food breaks to anyone who smokes. They bro... read more
I've only been at this facility for 5 days and i've seen people who needs medical attention but they only put them back in bed. 1 person had 4/5 seizures in 3/4 days. A navy veteran i saw have a major seizure in the elevator and all they did was try to keep him in the wheelchair. They didnt bother to lie him on his side and prop his head. These nurses here are very untrained and unsupervised. On my last day they were training new people. So please check on your people that are staying at this facility.
