I've only been at this facility for 5 days and i've seen people who needs medical attention but they only put them back in bed. 1 person had 4/5 seizures in 3/4 days. A navy veteran i saw have a major seizure in the elevator and all they did was try to keep him in the wheelchair. They didnt bother to lie him on his side and prop his head. These nurses here are very untrained and unsupervised. On my last day they were training new people. So please check on your people that are staying at this facility.
All GREED-based! The intake social worker ignored my requests to talk with my PCP to explain why I had the symptoms I HAD. Her mere 15 minute initial/only conversation with me resulted in her irresponsible, greed-based. egregious "assessment "of me. I was made to suffer for days because of her initial negligence. Subsequently, I was ignored daily, frequently, when I pleaded with the staff, GP, psychiatrist and nurses to let me have my phone so my PCP could be made aware. My insurance company has been defrauded!
Stay far away from this place. I've been desperately trying to contact my daughter, and this facility has made it impossible. I was told I would be able to speak with her, yet after 45 minutes of nonstop calling, I still haven't reached the right unit. Every call ends the same way--transferred to the wrong unit, disconnected, or hung up on. Staff tell me I "have the wrong number" and hang up, even after I explain I was transferred by their own system. No effort to help. No care. No accountability. When a child's well-bein... read more
DO NOT BEING YOUR CHILD HERE, they don't care and are terrible to the children, if anywhere I suggest you go to pheonix childrens
I was a patient here for around 6 months (jan 2 - jun 6) i was on the residential side. ignoring all of the mistreatment going on here the only problems i have are: 1. photos have not been updated in FOREVER. the floors have so much dirt just permanently stuck to them, and there were ants everywhere. Some units don't have the same chairs and use plastic ones which are VERY uncomfortable especially because we barely move out of the unit unless for meals or school. 2. Therapists see you ONCE a week unless you are actively ... read more
Oasis behavioral health is Chandler AZ our 11 year old son is there. the dr never reaches out only for silly stuff like he fell out of the bed sleeping We try to call and they never pick up the phone Heaven forbid there was an emergency Positive is Oasis has kept him there, at the CFT teams request- where Banner Thunderbird Hospital never listens to the team, they only go by what they see, even after six or eight hospitalizations
I am so glad to be a veteran of the Armed Forces! Even more to be able to serve the citizens of Arizona! Thanks for nothing Oasis, thanks for ignoring the 30 job applications I put in.. I think I'll just go sell some more of my personal property so that you can continue to hire your friends and family... I hope you know what you're doing! From my perspective, not likely!
I stayed here about a year ago for a week and it was an awful experience. I saw patients getting SA'd by other patients with no intervention, I saw fights happen every day and people were constantly yelling, I only saw a social worker maybe once when I first got there and the day I left, no therapy whatsoever unless you count some person talking to us about addiction for ten minutes. There was an old lady there with an infected foot that never got any medical treatment and was treated like she was crazy when she asked for ... read more
The administration here is trying to make as much profits as they possibly can and as a result there's poor staffing. I'm talking one nurse and one tech on a unit with 14+patients. Ergo your kids cannot get the proper care they need. There's constant fighting and kids that are violent that need to be on a one to one, so staff can have constant eyes on them are put on a Q5 instead. There's cop on site every day because there are constant incidents. If you want your kid to get help/better please do not send them to this dump s... read more
