this place sucks for anywhere you're trying to send ur child to heal at. completely unbiased, all it is, is all the useless group meetings you have to do that most kids there don't ever take serious. if you have younger kids like (9, 10, 11, 12) if you send them here or literally any place like these they will just be around bad influences, like in the all girl side there's literally like kid lesbians with older girls. (idk thought that was weird cuz i wouldn't want my kids around that). Going in for detox too was horrible f... read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CARE!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!! I was inpatient here for 6 miserable days. Got billed for seeing the social worker for individual and group therapy everyday but only saw a social worker once. Was billed for occupational therapy everyday and only got two groups. On unit morning groups were NEVER done by the techs in the morning or the evening l. Saw the doctor 5 out of 6 days and only his bill was correct. No healthy food options or vegetarian options for meals. Doctor ordered supplement shake... read more

I was admitted last year in November. The experience to get admitted is horrible. They make you wait in this boring waiting room with a single TV in a glass case and snacks, but it's not the best thing especially when you want to commit suicide. it's not a comfortable feeling, and it shouldn't necessarily be comfortable. when I was admitted, i was put in the ocotillo unit(the WORST one) it was the all girl unit. I got into the unit at maybe 2:00 am and they assigned me to a room with a 17yo (I was 12) and she was nice but I ... read more

do not take your child to this place. I had to AMA my child due to the inability to keep my child safe. my child is part of the LGBTQ community. they were bullied every day not only by their peers but the staff acted like they didn't notice. it got so bad that my child started cutting again. It had been almost a year since the last cut. I was never notified, they never moved them. I even went to the facility on 2 separate occasions and they assured me they would handle the situation. Not to mention when we checked out he ... read more

This place is hell on earth. If you have psychiatric difficulties they will make it worse! I was dehumanized, humiliated, and disrespected. Everyone deserves respect and dignity. I was not fed for 16 1/2 hours, then given 4 minutes to eat the nasty food they provide. Group therapy was never performed As scheduled. Never prescribed the medications I needed, just another body to get money for the establishment. If you or a family member need help PLEASE DO NOT seek it at Oasis Behavioral Health Hospital. .

So far a month into my 17yo treatment, he feels like the environment needs a lot of improvements. He said the fellow residents all feel the same. The treatment is sub par therapies. They medicate The kids then let them watch tv all day and listen to rap/hip hop rap on youTube in their free time. There is ALOT of free time. When I get calls from him, rap is blaring in the background on an already crappy broken phone. Tonight he was listening to juice world. In case you don't know, Juice world is a rap artist who overdosed on ... read more

Staff are very neglectful, patients assaulted me on multiply occasions nothing was done. Some patients were harming themselves and nothing was done. I was placed in a room with another patient who had lice/bedbugs. Fights broke out several times. I would not recommend this facility at all. Please avoid this place at all cost. I honestly don't understand how it's still running the staff are unbelievably neglectful. Even after 2+ years I haven't forgotten details about the nights I spent here. Did more harm then help.
