Have used oil stop for years because of convenience but will NEVER return again. This location used the wrong tool to tighten my oil plug and severely damage my oil pan.. $419 worth of damage at the repair shop to get it fixed all because of careless work... do not let them replace with their exclusive plugs!

The service was excellent here. The employees were extremely respectful and pleasant. I saw some of the other reviewers comment on here that they try and sell you a bunch of extra add ons. This is true, but they don't get commission and aren't upset if you don't want them. I was able to go in without a wait, stay in my car, and get out in about 15 minutes. They also give you a free drink and a car wash!

I'm updating this review to 3 stars because they are awesome about recycling oil here. I brought them 9 quarts of used oil and they were happy to show me where to dump it and even offered me a drink. You can also bring your filters there too.

I take my vehicles to Oil Stop for fluid maintenance, because these drive-through stations are tailor-made for people like me, who never dare to look under the hood of their own vehicle, because something will break or spring out from under there. They have all of my car's records, and its maintenance schedule in their database. All I have to do is drive up, smile, nod, accept the free beverage, and read a magazine while they make my car happy. And then give them money. I am happy to do it. The service here was emmaculate! Sergio, Mario, Jose and Padro were extremely informative, professional, curtious and very friendly. I would recommend this oil stop to anyone.

I got my oil changed at this place on a Saturday afternoon. I waited maybe 5 minutes to get into a bay and the whole time I was waiting someone was working on my car. They are very efficient, professional and courteous. They do try to sell you on several extras but a polite 'no thank you' is all that is needed. It is bothersome but I understand it's part of their job. I did see a previous review that said they change your drain plug, but they do not do that. My wife and I have gone to this place for years. I think they have a great service and people. We have 3 vehicles that we get serviced and will continue to go here.

I used to really like this place, and to an extent I really still do, but I do have to say a couple things start to annoy you if you go there every time for your oil change. 1. It's an oil change, not brain surgery. The way these goes shout at each other while changing your oil is almost like they're in boot camp. It's a little weird but I'm sure management has beaten them over the head that they have to do it that way. It's nice that their professional, but it can be toned down big time. 2. I had my oil changed at Oil Stop in Petaluma and was left feeling bombarded with unnecessary service request. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad thing if your car legitimately needs the transmission, rear end, power steering, radiator fluids changed. In my case I had the transmission and rear end fluids changed at another Oil Stop six months prior and the technicians where suggesting that I do it again, when I told them about this they told me that their computers can't share records with that other location.
