She wasn't there long enough to really determine all aspects of care. But the staff was attentive and sweet and patient. There were times when I thought she could've been changed more often but once I mentioned it to them they were very on top of it . Mom didn't eat much in her waning days so I can't comment on the food. But overall, it was clean, staff was good and they always answered my calls and were good about giving me updates.
It is a good community and they care. I would recommend
Pasadena Highlands would be a great place for transitional housing for me but not what I sm looking for in permanent housing. The units were small and lacked a full kitchen.
Touring other facilities. Pasadena Highlands seemed to be in the middle of the pack on cost for memory care. Still rather expensive.
My father is in a memory care room. The entire 3rd floor is reserved for people with memory care issues. Secured with access code. 2 x Dinning rooms are also on the 3rd floor. 1 large and one smaller room. He has 2 closets, his lazy boy recliner, dresser, adjustable queen bed, side table, floor lamp and 70" tv from home. 4' x 12' balcony with 6' x 8' glass sliding door and great view of mountains.
The entire staff was so kind to my Mom, especially those in the memory care unit. They took care of her like family. She grew to love several of the caregivers before her passing.
making a group of friends becomes your family here. the food is a 3 but we just got a new chef so it may change. great director. expensive but right for me. Talk to residents when you are here. Make sure it is what you want for your individual needs.
5's across the board! The friendly and caring staff, the food is great, the garden and walking path are amazing, really clean, nice range of activities. Overall it has been a wonderful place for my mom! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families
I would rank all categories at 5. We had an absolutely spectacular experience with Pasadena Highlands. Incredibly warm, kind staff interactions from caregivers to back office. It was an incredibly difficult time and the team was gentle and caring with my father and our family. We were so very grateful.
