Staff is warm friendly and supportive. Lots of activities to choose from but my mom prefers to sit them out and they validate her choices and wishes. Food is very good with a wide variety of choices. My mom's apartment is beautiful and spacious with a lovely view of the garden. The garden space is the best part of all! My mom loves to stroll in the gorgeous, enclosed, private space and enjoys interacting with other residents throughout the property. It has been the perfect choice for my mom and I recommend it very highly!
We moved our family members out after 3 months because their needs were not being met. Our original sales person was fabulous until the day we moved them in. On the positive side, place was clean, pleasant dining room with good food and [name removed] at the front desk is probably the best employee with good communication and follow through. But overall. Staff is nice not enough of them, but try and be helpful.
Positives: all staff members are friendly and helpful. Negatives: New in-coming employees need more training, food could be better and better cleaning of the dinning area.
The facility could be utilized better. Because it has only two elevators , movement through the facility is slow. Also, there was some turnover in staffing that causes some disruption
I give the residence an A- because they are not supplying residents with bottled water. Other than that short coming, they have given a top shelf effort. 4/5 would be accurate. This place really does try to be the best but they should be told when they fail short.
I moved out recently. I wasn't that happy There. There was too many people I'm not used to that. Also, the dining room service was terrible. They don't have enough waiters. The food is cold when they bring it to you you have to ask for every little thing, the butter, the ketchup, the mustard, the whatever you need, you have to ask for it instead of them having some on the table, I don't know I just wasn't happy there. Pasadena Highlands has been a good place for my mom. The good: Clean, well appointed. The residents all seem to be happy and can be found engaging with each other and the staff. Food quality is good. So many activities. My mom does not need much attention, but from what I see, the ones that do, get it. Friendly staff. Responsive to my needs. The not so good: They seem to be understaffed. After several months of visiting 55+ communities I chose Pasadena Highlands. I am comfortably settled in my apartment and have made some wonderful friends. I can’t believe I lived alone for so long when this was available. Pasadena Highlands is home now and I could not be happier.
