Get directionsWe picked this community because of the location. Beautiful grounds. Lots of activities and entertainment.
Overall experience - good combination of value and quality. Clealiness -facility looks good Friendliness of staff - Great staff. They often say hi by name to residents in hallways. They are very positive and upbeat. Quality of care - good care, they address issues as they come up. Could use a bit more staff. Meals/Dining - they have good food, parents like it. Activities - Lots of them and a variety, however my parents do not take advantage of many of them. Overall a good value.
The transition to Pasadena Highlands was as smooth as it could be. [name removed] bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. My mom has been in the facility for over a month and after not wanting to move, she now can’t stop telling us how much she loves her new place. Everyone there knows her name and we are beyond grateful that we found this place! The garden area in back is a particular treasure to have found as my mom really enjoys walking and needed a place to do so safely. We can’t say enough about how fortunate... read more
I would absolutely recommend this place to others!Wonderful, [name removed] was great to work with. The staff is great! We picked this community because of the location, and friendly staff.
Pasadena Highlands is expensive, but it is well worth it. I was expecting our loved one to be depressed with the move, but he is happier than he has been for years. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to others
It's very expensive but Pasadena Highlands is so nice especially with the private outside patio on the room. It was less if a challenge finding a suitable place for mom than I thought it would be. It's taken 2 months but I think all the kinks are ironed out.
My disabled and wheelchair-bound husband lives his "best life" at Pasadena Highlands. It is a vibrant, caring, and beautifully appointed assisted living community. His apt is perfect: large living room, bedroom, kitchenette, and fully accommodating ADA bathroom. He can easily maneuver his wheelchair between rooms. He enjoys the gym where he and his PT or OT can work w/the equipment. PH also offers an extensive list of activities and outings. Food is delicious and varied in the gracious dining room where he sits w/different r... read more
We moved my parents to Pasadena Highlands seven years ago when a health crisis made it necessary for them to leave their house. As my mom said, "If you can't live in your own home, Highlands is a great place to be." Highlands personnel cared for them in assisted living until my mom passed in 2019, then helped us know when it was time, more recently for my dad to move to Memory Care. He did great there and when it was time for him to go, they brought in hospice and made sure his passing was a peaceful one and that we were kep... read more
We chose Pasadena Highlands because it looked like it would be a good fit for my brother and it has turned out to be just that, he is very happy here. The staff are very friendly and were helpful with the whole move in experience. That was especially helpful for me since I live so far away. I would recommend the facility to other families looking.
