This has got to be the worst company. They will not cancel my service when requested and keep charging me and won't refund the charges. Will need to take them to court.
Horrible unprofessional company. Run the other way. They will do nothing but harm your business.
The only thing that Paychex trains their employees on, is how to deflect from solving any problems. They will give you the run around for months and at the end, they will tell you, we can't help you. In the meantime, you have wasted hours of time, money and stress trying to solve your issues. If I do not get my money back from paying Cobra for months because they have decided to cancel my Cobra account, I will be seeking legal counsel. Paychex is by far the worst payroll company out there. The customer service lacks and I don’t think they actually train their employees.
This company should be shut down ! I am filing a complaint with the Florida attorney general.
This company may have the worst customer service of any payroll provider I've ever dealt with. The CSRs are circular in their arguments; when they don't want to help you, you're better off hanging up and waiting on hold again because you will NOT get accomplished what you needed to accomplish. I was told "I do not have a supervisor" by one CSR. Can you imagine? I'm pretty easy-going, until I'm lied to. Tax issues galore, failure to file forms, excuse after excuse... we're done. Paychex is extremely incompetent. I was charged twice for HR services I never used by Spencer K*****— around $1900. It got so bad that I had to call my bank to put a stop on their payments so that I could still pay my employees. Paychex had the audacity to offer a “credit” to my account! Stay FAR AWAY!! These people do not communicate or respond to emails! They are great at communicating in the beginning because they want to sell you the service, but once you sign up they stop.
Awful. High turnover of payroll specialists resulting in constant new hire messing up while learning. Unprocessed payroll and late payments. I submitted eed/IRS tax. Unresponsive and lack of communication between departments. This company is an absolute nightmare.
I referred a client to use Paychex for their new corporation. This is a one person payroll. Paychex made gross errors on every possible action. They had such an incompetent payroll rep who admitted she had over 1000 unread emails. It took a senior regional manager 4 levels above the rep to get one payroll done. Then... there was still an error Paychex remitting withheld state taxes, so the client has $1300 in penalties.
