Went through the painful process of having my vehicle totaled by this company. They actually gave me a fair offer. I asked how taxes work and they told me to submit a receipt and they would pay me the tax rate based on the totaled vehicles value. I asked this twice to two different people and got the same response. When I submitted my receipt I got an email stating that they don't pay that and it was rolled into the breakdown of the vehicle. my truck was hit while in a shop to be repaired. Pekin is their insurance company. it took them 6 months to cut a check. The estimates to repair their damage was $4200, I just received a check, 6 months later for 1579. these people are CROOKS!

I would absolutely NEVER recommend Pekin Insurance to anyone. They raised my auto insurance over $2000 saying I had 2 accidents. When I questioned them because I only had one in the last 11 years. They informed me the glass repair they paid $95 on was considered a claim. I will be switching companies. They also denied a homeowners claim on my air conditioner last year even though I pay for home guard. The person they sent out said it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Your client hit our 2021 Mercedes Benz! We were at a stop light and your client tried to do an illegal U turn and scraped the number, the tail light and left paint damaged my car!
