If you are involved in an accident with someone insured with this company, get your own lawyer (don’t let your insurance company take care of it). Their claims rep was hateful. Their insured was 100% completely at fault. Now we’re stuck with a vehicle that has depreciated, 2 months of expense of not having it, and had to increase our insurance coverage to protect us in the future from lying idiots like the one they insured. Just an fyi, if you or anyone you know have Pekin Insurance I highly suggest to look for another company. They have got to be the absolute worst to work with. They hate to cover any sort of claim, and refuse to work with you or an adjustor to come up with any sort of solution.

My grandmother is 85 with dementia. She has been with this insurance company since 2006, and never made a claim until two days ago. You will only pay for half of a roof, and $100 for removal of branches. Who replaces half of a roof? She cannot afford to pay for the half. Shame on you. I would never recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Worst company I've ever had to deal with. Was forced to carry them for credit life on my car loan through a dealership. I was charged up front for the policy and now is doing everything and anything to not pay a claim. Biggest rip off I've ever seen. I have other coverage on my loans from the bank from a different company. Claim was paid with no hassle at all. From reading their Yelp reviews their other offices seem to operate the same way. As if a death of a parent isn't already hard enough, they want to force me into giving up all my fathers health documents for them to scrounge thru to see if he died from something other then stage four colon cancer. The woman Melissa Robertson was particularly rude. They were given the death certificate and the date of his cancer diagnosis and still want to take our money. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GARBAGE!

Was backed into by someone insured by Pekin on the 26th of April. I have not yet spoken with anyone. I have tried to reach out many Times and still no return call. I will be filling a BBB complaint. Looks like this is the normal for this company. My insurance company even reached out to them.
absolutely do not recommend! called to cancel both my biz policies at the beginning of covid because we had to shut down . I specifically said BOTH . they only stopped one and now want me to pay them for the policy they didn't stop !
