A kid threw a rock at my car and caused enough damage for his parents to file a claim on their home owner’s insurance policy through Pekin. The mother did everything she was supposed to do, but it took this incompetent company four months to acknowledge the claim and only because I contacted an attorney to take them to court. I have had the displeasure of working with this insurance twice now. The first time, the adjuster took TWO MONTHS to come and assess my vehicle. When he was here and present he was snotty, condescending and rude. Nothing more than a run around and overly unhelpful. This recent time? Absolutely useless. I can only hope that bankruptcy is in their future and the clients they DO have, wise up.

very unprofessional. was hit by their insured and 2 weeks later still fighting for our $ to fix our car. however the person who hit us has already gotten the $ to fix their car. our estimate was "overlooked" after curtis assured us things were handled. had wr not called back today to see what the hold up was, theyd still b doing NOTHING to resolve this. i hope u dont get hit by a pekin insurance client bcuz if u do ull have to fight to get ur $ 👎

If you are involved in an accident with someone insured with this company, get your own lawyer (don’t let your insurance company take care of it). Their claims rep was hateful. Their insured was 100% completely at fault. Now we’re stuck with a vehicle that has depreciated, 2 months of expense of not having it, and had to increase our insurance coverage to protect us in the future from lying idiots like the one they insured. Just an fyi, if you or anyone you know have Pekin Insurance I highly suggest to look for another company. They have got to be the absolute worst to work with. They hate to cover any sort of claim, and refuse to work with you or an adjustor to come up with any sort of solution.

My grandmother is 85 with dementia. She has been with this insurance company since 2006, and never made a claim until two days ago. You will only pay for half of a roof, and $100 for removal of branches. Who replaces half of a roof? She cannot afford to pay for the half. Shame on you. I would never recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Worst company I've ever had to deal with. Was forced to carry them for credit life on my car loan through a dealership. I was charged up front for the policy and now is doing everything and anything to not pay a claim. Biggest rip off I've ever seen. I have other coverage on my loans from the bank from a different company. Claim was paid with no hassle at all. From reading their Yelp reviews their other offices seem to operate the same way.
