In well over 30 years of coverage with little to no claims, my mother's insurance on her mobile home was dropped following 2 weather-related claims nearly 2 years apart - the derecho and a tornado. Absolutely pathetic way to treat a long-term customer.

I would under no circumstances advise you to use this company. You pay Normal to Higher premiums and then get in one little accident and they come up with every excuse under the sun as to why they can't cover something that clearly got damaged in the accident. I carry insurance for this exact reason, to get damage fixed by paying my deductible and no more out of pocket expenses to fix what was obviously damaged on the vehicle in the collision. If you need full coverage insurance on your vehicle do NOT go with Pekin insurance. If you end up needing to use the insurance policy because of an accident they will not cover all the parts that need fixed 100%. Even though we have had coverage for years and never had to use it, they refuse to pay for everything. They also didn’t send someone out to see the damages on the vehicle and we’re trusting the pictures we took and what the mechanic said. Yet still not paying 100%. Absolutely will be switching company’s.

Horrendous experience with these clowns. Cancelled policy on 15th of month, idiots took payment out anyway on 24th of month. When I called em out on it, they said I had to wait till 1st of month, they would have check then. Today is 8th, and WOW, crickets from pekin Ins. I called tuesday this week and was told that check was sent overnight Monday............ today is Friday, informed delivery from US Postal service don’t show anything arriving from Pekin yet !!!!!! SMDH @ Incompetent companies.

I have been with pekin for 25 years accident free. Today they tell me they are raising my premiums 20.5 percent. The reason I have been giving for this is well rates increase that is not acceptable in my eyes. Amazes me a company is willing and WILL loose a 25 year customer over greed. The world has become a scary place.

A kid threw a rock at my car and caused enough damage for his parents to file a claim on their home owner’s insurance policy through Pekin. The mother did everything she was supposed to do, but it took this incompetent company four months to acknowledge the claim and only because I contacted an attorney to take them to court. I have had the displeasure of working with this insurance twice now. The first time, the adjuster took TWO MONTHS to come and assess my vehicle. When he was here and present he was snotty, condescending and rude. Nothing more than a run around and overly unhelpful. This recent time? Absolutely useless. I can only hope that bankruptcy is in their future and the clients they DO have, wise up.

very unprofessional. was hit by their insured and 2 weeks later still fighting for our $ to fix our car. however the person who hit us has already gotten the $ to fix their car. our estimate was "overlooked" after curtis assured us things were handled. had wr not called back today to see what the hold up was, theyd still b doing NOTHING to resolve this. i hope u dont get hit by a pekin insurance client bcuz if u do ull have to fight to get ur $ 👎
