As if a death of a parent isn't already hard enough, they want to force me into giving up all my fathers health documents for them to scrounge thru to see if he died from something other then stage four colon cancer. The woman Melissa Robertson was particularly rude. They were given the death certificate and the date of his cancer diagnosis and still want to take our money. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GARBAGE!

Was backed into by someone insured by Pekin on the 26th of April. I have not yet spoken with anyone. I have tried to reach out many Times and still no return call. I will be filling a BBB complaint. Looks like this is the normal for this company. My insurance company even reached out to them.
absolutely do not recommend! called to cancel both my biz policies at the beginning of covid because we had to shut down . I specifically said BOTH . they only stopped one and now want me to pay them for the policy they didn't stop !
They have been horrible to deal with. Paid several months ahead on my 6 policies early last month and the months prior. After several calls they finally updated them today. still not right but I'm tired of dealing with them. Going insurance shopping this week and they can refund my money.
Pekin is a complete joke. The office in Pekin, Illinois, lacks communication and professionalism. Please don’t waste your time or money with this company.

I have never been so mistreated by a company as I was by this one. I have had insurance with them for 7 years, 1 accident in that time. I have been screamed at by employees for having my truck towed to the wrong place, a place I was told to have it towed by the 800 number customer service. What insurance company does Not write a policy for a business with 0 claims, NO late payments, and easy $??? Pekin Insurance of course. I called to try and understand the reasoning behind it, and was treated horribly, and then, the ‘wonderful’ woman I was talking to hung up on me. I was hit by someone insured by pekin. . The adjuster never returns my calls, today 9 days later I finally spoke to her for the first time. She lied and said she called me and left me a voicemail ( that never happened) tried to manipulate me into taking only 50 percent half payment for my vehicles damages or else it’s going to take a long time.
