My experience with Pender Veterinary Hospital is consistently excellent. Our pet doctors are compassionate and deeply caring for our relationships with our pets and take the time to clearly explain the many conditions our pets and we have faced. We feel in very good hands when we need veterinary care.
Tender loving care from Dr Peter Hyatt and all of the staff at Pender Vet in Fairfax. We have been clients for 30 years with 7 dogs over that time span. Very few surgeries, fortunately, but our shep mix had a partial tear of her ACL recently. Dr Hyatt performed her repair surgery beautifully and she is back to romping with her 7 month old puppy brother. Pure joy.
Very professional and engaging staff. Show great compassion and empathy for our pets. Great at explaining procedures and tests. We've be going to them with our 3 dogs and cat for 10+ years and love the service.

I never write reviews, but my experience here was so amazing, I had to. I called with an emergency at 5 a.m., flustered and having no idea what to do. Pender was my third call, and the person who answered the phone was so kind and informative. She asked a lot of questions, allayed my fears, and told me what to do until I could get into the clinic. The vet and staff at the appointment were also incredible and never tried to upsell or force me into tests or procedures that were not absolutely necessary. I can't recommend them ... read more

My normal vet did not have time to see my senior dog who severely hurt her back. Pender agreed to see her that day. Dr.Flanery was so kind, professional and helpful, and I’m happy to say she is recovering nicely. In addition his staff followed up with me a week after her injury to see how she was doing. I highly recommend this practice.

We saw a technician at Pender Vet yesterday for a shot. Morgan loves all the techs there. He never goes anywhere without me, but he goes with them . Great group who love animals and you know they will treat your pet with care.

Andrew (Dr. Voell) was absolutely fantastic with my dog. He always is. Makes us feel welcome and although Ajax gets a little nervous, he handles him very well. Highly recommend him.
