Everyone was very helpful, especially with the main elevator out. One of the staff members walked me to the back elevator, and even carried the carrier, with Miss Angie serenading everyone on the way! Dr. Carney was wonderful. I was near panicked when I first brought her in, I didn't know what was wrong. He pretty much figured it out right away, explained everything and what meds he was going to give her. He also suggested a Rx food, which Angie likes (thank goodness). Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience. We were referred to Pender from our regular vet when our 3 year old dog was having major health issues (organ swelling, filling with fluids, etc.).They got her right in, ran tests to determine a treatment plan. Dr. Voell and team explained everything to us along the way - constant communication (sometimes 2 or 3 times - even into late evenings). Our dog recovered - and we cannot say enough great things about this facility. The front staff is great too when picking up meds and for appts.

I love Pender Vet! Every member of their care team has been wonderful and cares for your pet as if they were their own. My cats have been seen by both Drs. Riso and Schill, and I cannot speak highly enough of them both. If you're in need of a new vet in Northern VA, I highly recommend giving their office a call!

I've been told that Fig Newton has better doctors and medical care than many humans, and I am very grateful to the entire Pender team for that. He's the center of the family and you all always put him at the center of your attention and care. His recent surgery was successful and smooth and his recovery swift. We have used Dr Voel as our vet for years with several different dogs and cats. We keep using him because he is a great vet and loves animals and explains everything to us as needed. There’s none better! Our chin spaniel Oreo tells us the same thing! Doug Menarchik. He is a 5-star vet

I took my senior cat to Pender yesterday, and Dr. Hyatt and Tiffany were successful (since Vanilla is not a food patient) in drawing blood for a blood test that showed Vanilla requires an adjustment in this thyroid medicine. I was concerned that he was in kidney failure because he has been losing weight and drinking a lot of water. We continue to have great trust in Dr. Hyatt and his team at Pender.

Our dog experienced GDV at 10 p.m. on a Friday night, and we rushed her to Pender Veterinary Hospital. She received immediate care, and the team was able to bring in an on-call surgeon. By 1 a.m., they had successfully completed the life-saving surgery. Following the operation, we received several calls from the on-call veterinarians and technicians, who kept us informed every step of the way. Dr Hyatt and his team are wonderful as always! Kind, and clear with their explanations. My puppy slept through most of the examination so clearly no stress at all for her!
