My pibull mix was having a very hard time just standing up. I called Pender Fairfax because my vet of 20 years had recently closed shop. Pender looked at my dog right away and quickly determined that knee surgery was needed. Dr. Denny did the surgery and the office gave me clear care instructions. She is one month into recovery. It will be a while before she can negotiate stairs again and go for long walks, but she looks like a new dog.

We love Pender and trust them with the care of our pets, cat and dogs. They have always been our “go to” place to keep them healthy or when emergencies arise. All doctors that have seen my beautiful standard poodle, Kamri, have been very professional and caring, the same goes for the technicians and front desk team. Now that Kamri is a senior (13 years old), we are seeing them more often, and Dr Vowell has been a godsend taking care of her. His positivism helps us in caring for our beautiful dog. Thanks a lot Pender team!

Dr. Hyatt at Pender Veterinary Center has been my trusted veterinarian for over 15 years. He is very professional, thorough, straightforward, understandable, and compassionate and presents alternatives with pros and cons of each. He always follows through with information and recommendations from visits and lab results. My companion animals are very important to me and I want the best possible care for them. Dr. Hyatt gives it.

Pender has the most knowledgeable and caring vets and techs. I’ve brought all 6 of my dogs here and I know that if anything is wrong, the doctors will figure it out. The staff also shows great compassion for the crazy owners.

Absolutely LOVE Pender Veterinary. The entire staff is always so polite and friendly, and the star is Dr. Andrew Voell. He simply cares and makes you feel heard. We live far, but don't mind the drive, our dog is worth it!

I brought my cat, Nugget, to Pender Veterinary Center in Fairfax for a new patient visit after moving to the area, and it was a great experience. Scheduling was quick and easy. Dr. Kierstin Kuhns and the veterinary techs were thorough, kind, and genuinely caring. Everyone was friendly and took excellent care of us from start to finish. Pricing was also very reasonable. I’m really glad to have found this practice and would happily recommend them.

Dr. DeMarco and Dr. Luntz saved my dog’s life two months ago. Dr. DeMarco continues to help us safely and effectively address his immune disease.
