Had a great first visit at Pender Veterinary Centre with my dog, Ozzie! We’re new to the area, and the staff was so welcoming and kind. They made Ozzie feel comfortable during her annual check-up and took the time to answer all my questions. I left feeling confident in her care—definitely recommend!
I had a wonderful experience at Pender Veterinary Center and can’t recommend them enough. I recently brought in my two newly adopted cats for a checkup, and Dr. Flanery took exceptional care of them. He is incredibly compassionate and has such a calm, reassuring presence—both for pets and their humans. What really stood out to me is how clearly he explains everything. My experience with Pender Veterinary Hospital is consistently excellent. Tender loving care from Dr Peter Hyatt and all of the staff at Pender Vet in Fairfax. We have been clients for 30 years with 7 dogs over that time span. Very few surgeries, fortunately, but our shep mix had a partial tear of her ACL recently. Dr Hyatt performed her repair surgery beautifully and she is back to romping with her 7 month old puppy brother. Pure joy.

I never write reviews, but my experience here was so amazing, I had to. I called with an emergency at 5 a.m., flustered and having no idea what to do. Pender was my third call, and the person who answered the phone was so kind and informative. She asked a lot of questions, allayed my fears, and told me what to do until I could get into the clinic. The vet and staff at the appointment were also incredible and never tried to upsell or force me into tests or procedures that were not absolutely necessary. I can't recommend them ... read more

My normal vet did not have time to see my senior dog who severely hurt her back. Pender agreed to see her that day. Dr.Flanery was so kind, professional and helpful, and I’m happy to say she is recovering nicely. In addition his staff followed up with me a week after her injury to see how she was doing. I highly recommend this practice.
