Over almost 35 years through ups and downs, Pender has cared for our seven dogs. We have been able to maintain continuity of care by consistently seeing the same Veterinarians and have **never** been dissatisfied. Their experience, insight, and recommendations are take seriously and faithfully applied. With a medical admin background, I am happy to leave with a plan of action, rather than another prescription. Pender can't get rid of us!

Have been going to Pender with various dogs for about 20 years. Dr Hyatt is our Primary Vet and always happy getting his expertise and opinions on things. Have recently been seeing Dr Adesso when Dr Hyatt is not available or when seeing her for acupuncture. Both of them are great and helpful with whatever I need for my dog. Brenda L is my go to if they are busy as to who else might be able to help. I've been very happy with my time at Pender. I no longer dread taking my dog to the vet because of the crushing bills associated with her care. Pender not only has phenomenal pricing but fantastic staff who has never once urged me to perform any extraneous visits or additional care. If I call because I have a concern with my animal I feel good that the advice they give me is sincere and accurate. I trusted Dr Andrew Voel for his profound knowledge and compassion to my dogs. He knew what’s the best treatments for my dogs and wouldn’t ask for unnecessary ones. He spayed my two dogs. They both did very well. His assistant Issac is great, too.

Many thanks to vet tech Lauren for her kindness to my old, sick dog Bix. He has congestive heart failure, his sight and hearing are failing, his hips are shot, he is having seizures, and his kidneys are shot. Lauren was so thoughtful, understanding, and sympathetic, and we appreciated her willingness to work with us regarding Bix’s vaccinations.

We have been using Pender for years, and would go nowhere else. The level of concern and care that we have experienced from everyone on staff has been just amazing. Recently we moved to the Shenandoah Valley from the Fairfax area, and we are happy to drive the 60 miles each way to maintain the level of care we have experienced for our Golden’s in our Siamese cats.
