We have a mobile vet for our three cats but we will use Pender for emergency services as well as any services our mobile vet cannot provide. Pender's administrative/front desk staff are very friendly as are their Veterinary doctors. We would highly recommend

Had a sudden emergency involving my dog at an ungodly hour that our local vet ER couldn't help us with due to elongated wait times. We were directed to Pender and what a wonderful, comfortable experience it ended up being! Kind, helpful staff and a great layout of a waiting room for owners--and animals alike--to hunker down in. I couldn't have asked for a better alternative!

Dr Hyatt did a great job with the knee surgery (TPLO) on my dog. At the 8-week point, he took x-rays and showed me how the bone had started healing. He answered all my questions about the recovery period, let me take pictures of the x-rays, and discussed options for the arthritis in my dog's front legs. He is a great surgeon and a great Doctor to talk to.

The staff here is so friendly and knowledgeable. It was very easy to talk to them about my concerns for my cat, and we agreed on a plan of treatment. They gave my cat lots of love during the exam and clearly communicated the diagnosis and health plan. I highly recommend them!

We brought our 9-year-old Beagle mix Maggie in for an orthopedic consult. She's had a luxating patella since she was a puppy and this caused her to strain her knee ligaments sometimes. A few weeks ago, she hurt her knee, but things didn't recover in a day or so as they had before. It was clear to me that she had torn something. We brought in our three dogs today for wellness checks. First of all…Dr Voell was amazing! In 30 years of owning dogs and multiple moves around the world, I have never had this comprehensive of a wellness visit for any dog. So much education and lifestyle management especially for our senior dogs. And, having a Saturday appointment made it possible to bring them all in together with my husband.
