We own many generations of boxers and we have been going to Pender for over 20 years. Over the years, we tried to find another veterinarian facilities that are closer to home since we are about 45 mins away, but we were unable to find anything that comparable to Pender. All doctors at Pender are wonderful, but our primary vet has been Dr. Andrew Volle. He has a vast knowledge of many specific breeds of dogs and their unique medical conditions, particularly boxer. Optimal customer service and care! I am impressed with the level of care and love Maui receives from the staff all the time. The staff is consistently very professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and extremely helpful. I am so happy our neighbor recommended PVC to us - we highly recommend them as well. One final note: the technician that took care of Maui yesterday was exceptionally professional, loving and caring handling Maui’s visit.

I love how our pet and us have always been treated at Pender, with the upmost loving care and expediency. Nonetheless, this last time the technician that took care of my dog seemed to be in a hurry, rushing when she came to pickup our dog and rushing to deliver it back. I asked if we could groom her and she say yes while heading to the door. We are very happy with the care and professionalism at all levels that goes into running a 24 hour animal hospital. Our dog was seen by one of the expert surgeons, Dr Hyatt, for TPLO surgery, and is recovering well - it’s a long recovery. We have also used their emergency services over the years.

Pender has cared for my family's cats since we moved to the area in 2004. We always appreciate their patience with any questions we have about routine care or treatment plans. It's not hard to get a same-day visit when necessary, and knowing they have 24 hour emergency service is great for our peace of mind. Pender staff and vets have been especially compassionate and thoughtful with end of life care for our beloved friends. Dr. Flanary and Dr. Adesso stand out for their excellent bedside manner and communication.

Pender was able to see my dog same day on Black Friday! Very friendly staff and gentle with my scared dog. Excellent service and provided meds to heal my dog.
