Closing never happened when I was told it would. Amount was incorrect on the wire information. I had to call repeatedly to get information regarding when my loan would close. This was a simple refinance. PennyMac already had my original loan. I was simply refinancing to put more money down on my house. They made it VERY difficult.

It took several weeks for penny mac to accept the money in my bank account due to guidelines which would not allow them to recognize I had already withdrawn money they were not counting and so they double subtracted it which was completely ridiculous. The closing process was delayed and it increased the cost to keep the rate I was quoted. No one could explain the 'guidelines' used. Just that the 'underwriting team'made the decision.
