Knowing this is probably the worst time to refi but we are trying to relieve our debit to aid with being debt free by 2025. The Pennymac Team was great in this process thru every step.
The one thing that I had an issue with was question of how many witnesses we needed at closing & who it could be. I was told more than once that we needed 2 & they could be relatives. The attorney requested one witness & it could not be a relative.

Rosario, Leticia, Matt and the rest of the team were great with communications. They never hesitated to call or e-mail when info was needed, or to ask that we complete needed tasks. Great follow through from all team members.

Overall, all correspondence and communications were excellent.
I have to assume that the MacTeam members are shorthanded and overworked. My past experience with PennyMac and the MacTeam was that they were more proactive and communicated more quickly. This past experience was much slower re. communications.
