We were originally charged $13,000 in origination fees. A ridiculous amount when compared to other lenders only charging 1% of loan or a flat fee. The loan officers never called me back, even after Claudia promised I would hear back by end of day. Matt was horrible but he did negotiate a $2800 credit from origination costs because I was going to cancel the entire loan. The experience that I had with PennyMac was incredible. They were prompt and communicative. They got back with me as expeditiously as possible and all my questions were answered. I definitely recommend them and I look forward to keeping them as my lender. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 Stars.

My refinance was handled very well. There were some errors along the way. But nothing is ever perfect in this world. And it wasn't that big of a deal to be completely honest with you. I've had PennyMac as my lender for almost 5 years now. I have always been completely satisfied with them. And I was completely satisfied with this process. Mr Martinez was a pleasure to work with.
