Linda communicated well with me. I could always get a hold of her. She was great. The only problem I had was that supposed the same document was requested numerous times, but Linda indicated she received it, so there was some communication problem with the group she sent it to. Overall, everything went smooth.

It was very hard to get in touch with the right people to get answers. I was told my escrow account would be mailed to me. This was told to me many times. Weeks after closing, I was then told I would not receive my money from escrow and that it was applied to my loan. I made several calls prior to closing to make sure this didn't happen and it did anyway.

Better communications and expectations setting. I had to keep calling back to find out when closing would be and received different answers every time i call about how much i would need to bring to closing as well as if it had to be a certified check or not. I would never use Penny Mac for another loan, only used them this time as I thought since we were a current customer the experience would be easier, but this was not the case.
