Better communications and expectations setting. I had to keep calling back to find out when closing would be and received different answers every time i call about how much i would need to bring to closing as well as if it had to be a certified check or not. I would never use Penny Mac for another loan, only used them this time as I thought since we were a current customer the experience would be easier, but this was not the case.
I refinanced with them when i already had a loan with them and they explained how i could lower my payments and still pay my mortgage off faster than before
Marcia was absolutely wonderful. She is the only one I felt like I could get on the phone and sincerely wanted to help. The documents and closing were the problem. My paperwork was not accurate. The deal changed after agreement and before closing. I love Pennymac, but was disappointed with this closing.
