The first time we tried to do a refinance the agent in charge was incredibly unclear about what documents needed to be submitted. We submitted the ones that she asked for on time. And she proceeded to cancel our application, and wrote that we were not answering her and that’s why it was cancelled. We restarted the application and this group was much better about communicating but still we almost missed some of our deadlines because even though we submitted the documents they weren’t good enough for some reason. If your staff was honest we had three different closing costs so we couldn't close on the first time it was scheduled I was told the wrong interest rate the whole experience was a headache
Every detail from start to closing was perfect. Every person that assisted me went beyond my expectations in helping me upload my documents to making sure I had an really great experience. Each person helped me with every request and if they didn’t have the answer they got someone on the phone that did. My thanks also goes out to Joshua Hylan. He was excellent from the get go. We filled out our loan application in September of 2021 and did not close until January 15, 2022. Seems a little extreme...........
From the start…. The whole Mac Team was amazing! Everything went smoothly and efficiently. England and our Mac Team were very communicative and kept us up to date throughout the process!
I am not going to type an essay. Long story short, it was very evident that I knew more about what exactly was needed for inspections, than PennyMac. Then, after a water test was completed, it was initially rejected with "failing" results, even though it was the exact same results as the last water test that was given to Penny Mac just two years prior on a previous loan for the house. Pennymac is TERRIBLE an the the Team was unclear an communication lacted I was SO SORRY TO EVEN GET INVOLED!!!!!
The process was not smooth, too many calls to discuss - at almost every turn there were problems NO SONGLE point of contact TOO MANY requests for information - I asked at the start not to be bothered with multiple emails for information and that was ignored - this experience was so impersonal that I would not recommend PennyMac -Marica, when I spoke to her, she was helpful but it was infrequent talking directly to her!
