I was required to travel to meet my notary when they were scheduled to come to me. Additionally a closing document needed to be signed and sent again to the complete the process after I had already traveled to the notary and signed and completed all required forms.
My goal was to get rid of PMI
I breezed through the first three quarters of the process. Then I was asked to provide a record of additional savings funds. They would not take my wife's saving account. when I sent in my savings for more than what was asked, they would not take a printout with the banks stamp and a bank officers' signature on it. After the initial interview and application, most of the communication and requests were emailed. The Closing process conducted by La Wanda Benson was completed quickly and efficiently. I'm thinking this refinance was a positive experience. Thank you Pennymac!
