My job has ramped up to include a lot more time away from home and on the road; and it is always hard to find anyone I can trust to take care of my two dogs. I have tried every option available and used a number of dog boarders in Houston over the last three years. Pet Paradise (formerly Airport Pet Parks) has always been GREAT! and my two return home with me after a trip in excellent shape, happy, and well cared for. Foxy my Pomeranian came back spoiled rotten. If he could speak he would give it 10 stars. First of all this doggy hotel/ resort(no doggy jail)is open 24/7 365 days a year. It's about 7 minutes from the airport. They always have people working there so if you need to go off hours just call during regular operating hours and make appt. and they'll be up front for drop offs or pickups without add'l charge any hour. I moved from FL to TX. my dog has been so so many day camps and NEVER had an issue with another dog. I took him for his initial visit. As a first responder, my experience with Pet Paradise, Houston Will Clayton location, was extremely disappointing. I have been taking my dog to Pet Paradise off and on for the past year. I needed to drop my dog off at 5:15 a.m. due to my work schedule and gave 38 hours' notice. Their policy requires 48 hours for early drop-off, so I was only 10 hours short. Do not recommend.. my dog had been going for 4 1/2 years and went 3-4 times a week to doggy daycare. Since they had the merger with JFK we have had nothing but problems. He will not be going back.

The location has a beautiful playground that they make sure to let your dog play the first visit , when they take pictures. However after the first visit , be aware that your dog will be in a cage. They never tell you this , i went to pick up my dog 2 times and she was so stressed and run outside to pee, so the 3rd time i asked the front desk lady to show me where my dog was and only then I discovered they have them in cages. This is the second time our two pups stayed there. We thought the first time went well when we saw no signs of stress when we picked them up. This time, they could not get out of there fast enough! We noticed a lot of stress and anxiety from both. There was also some type of incident with a collar and tag. I requested that the manager call me. The call was full of nothing but excuses.

I just called this place to get information on boarding my dog. Whoever they have answering the phone is terrible it was like pulling teeth to get information. I had to ask every single question.. this is my first time trying to board my dog I don't know all the things to ask so when I call and ask for information You would think they will tell me everything they have to offer and what my dog will be doing. I've never been more upset in all my life. We have a red poodle and took her there for doggie day care. The day care service was fine. However the groomer was completely incompetent. We specifically explained not to cut our poodle other than the straggly hairs covering her eyes. She came back shaved and choppy. Some long and some short hairs.
