I've never been more upset in all my life. We have a red poodle and took her there for doggie day care. The day care service was fine. However the groomer was completely incompetent. We specifically explained not to cut our poodle other than the straggly hairs covering her eyes. She came back shaved and choppy. Some long and some short hairs. If you want your dog to get kennel cough, then oh boy, this is place for you!! The staff did a fantastic job ensuring that sick dogs came into contact with my dog. I absolutely loved having to worry about the health of my pooch over the last couple weeks and many sleepless nights. It was a pleasure spending time and money at my local vet to make sure she was getting the care she needed after falling ill at Pet Paradise. I showed up for my grooming appointment for my dog and was turned away. We were turned away rightfully so due to vaccines. Although my issue is that they failed to give me a warning call that his vaccines expired and they would not take him. Vaccinations are scheduled for this week, but their new system never said anything about it as a requirement upon lapse. Very disappointed in their ability to communicate.

My dog had her first day at day camp today and after doing the tour last week, I was excited and thought it was going to be a good place. Turns out, that was NOT the case. I was glued to my phone watching the live feeds and was extremely dissatisfied with what I saw. You could tell my dog was terrified since there were about 20 dogs in not that big of a room, and the 4 workers in the room were doing nothing to try and comfort her. I was so glad I found this place based on all the good reviews, so I left both my dogs here for about 5 nights. I keep both my dogs up to date on all vaccines. Upon getting home, the first day, they were exhausted so I thought they had a great time and was happy to find the place. The next morning, both dogs are dry hacking, choking, etc, one is having convulsion-like breathing issues, and it's gone on for a few days now. Pet lovers need to know one HUGE detail! If, for any reason, you need to get your pet after hours you will not be able to! They "will not even answer the phone" if you call the emergency number that is posted on their own door after hours--their words directly to me. This is a detail of Pet Paradise's policy that is not obvious but is a big deal-breaker. I'm not even confident that any human is there during the night. I am not comfortable with leaving my dogs at a place where I can't pick them up in an emergency situation. ... read more

This place is the worst! If I could give them zero stars, I would. Left our 8 month pup there for 6 days only come back to him full of urine!! His coat had turned yellow and sticky from so much urine!! We had to take him trait to get groomed!! The smell was unbearable!! We felt so bad for our pup!! They apparently tried to mal the urine smell with a scented spray, but that only made it worse! Never again will I use this place! First and definitely last time!

I prefer giving a minus star. They say four hours playing outsides with other dogs daily and pool. The pool was closed on the day we boarded our dog because of rain. But during weekend and the five sunny weekday, they did not get the pool ready. We want our dog to get a chance to play in the pool, this is one reason We chooses this place. The other reason is they say our dog can play with other dogs each day with staff observing. They failed both services. We paid $42 a day for a in-out kennel. We chose this location because it included the pool, four hours of play, and it seemed like they put dogs first. When we went for our tour, if one can call it that, we were allowed to peek around the corner to where he would be housed and that was it. I felt like they didn't want me to see the facility, to see the condition of the dogs or why it smelled of urine.
