Inn SW Florida it has been a challenge to find boarding facilities that don't discriminate against Pit Bulls and bully breeds in general. We looked at many, many "boarding" facilities; some we walked in and walked out. Evidently cleanliness was not their strong suit. Pet Paradise takes excellent care of my rescue (one was used as a bait dog) girls without hesitation or prejudice. We use Pet Paradise for boarding our three beagles as well as day care where they get to play with other dogs grouped according to size. They always have a good time and we feel bad that we don't bring them more often. The staff are great and most of the managers we have known for the 3 years that we have been going there (it was called Wigglebutt Inn originally). I have been using this facility for years. Changed to Pet Paradise last year and used them last month for the first time since changeover. Did not know some of the policy changes until dropping off. I will for next time but they were very accommodating in the meantime.

Sometimes I feel like my dog likes this place more than home! He gets so excited when he realizes where we're going and I've always had good experiences with the staff. Some of them even know his name as soon as he comes in, which makes me even happier. They also have webcams you can watch if you want to see what your dog's up to. Overall, it's been great and I definitely have noticed a positive impact in my dogs behavior by being socialized with other dogs.

My dog Bella U. goes to Pet Paradise for weekly daycare and boarding. The staff is friendly and professional. My dog seems to be happy when she comes home. She enjoys running around with all the other dogs.

As a fellow veterinary clinic calling about a mutual client, we were shocked by the level of unprofessionalism we experienced from Skylar specifically, a receptionist at Pet Paradise. We called to confirm if the patient records we sent had been received--nothing out of the ordinary. Instead, we were met with complete silence for nearly two minutes. No greeting, no acknowledgment. We boarded our dog for one day, and when we picked him up in the evening, we immediately noticed a terrible odor. He smelled awful, and his belly was sticky--likely from lying in his own urine. Our dog always signals when he needs to go out, making it clear that he was not properly cared for. Additionally, he has been drinking an excessive amount of water since returning home, raising concerns that his water bowl was not refilled regularly. Never ever bring your dog here. We spent a total of $1200 in the ER after day care and grooming. She was throwing up bile. Two days later after day care she started throwing up again. $400 more vets bills. They are very understaffed. There were 30 dogs in the small dog play area. They told me the last day she was there that they had 179 dogs boarding. There is no way the little building can support this with out doubling, tripling or 4 dogs per kennel. They do not let you tour the entire space. Go at your own risk...

for the second time this year, I got a call the day before my appointment for dog grooming to be told they double booked and have to cancel my appointment. then I was told they were booked until July...... so too bad me for their screw-up. I made this appointment in January for April..... but was not told of the double booking until the DAY BEFORE the appointment. Worst place EVER.
