I was referred to them for my cat Buddy, in 2012. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in his stomach. After much discussion of options, we decided on 6 months of chemo treatments. At the end, we were given steroids and 6 months to a year. My husband and my only hope then was for Buddy to make it to his 10th birthday. The team at Pet E.R. in Towson are some of the most caring individuals. We unexpectedly had to put our senior Pug name Lucy down a few weeks ago, and the entire staff here was so comforting and showed us so much empathy for what we were going through. Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family, and receiving a signed "Sympathy" card with personal notes of encouragement from individual staff members was probably one of the nicest things in the world... I would highly recommend Pet E.R. and was very pleased with their level of empathy and care during an extremely difficult time. On a Friday evening, my miniature schnauzer, Daphne, suddenly had a very difficult time breathing. After consulting with someone at the front desk over the phone, we rushed her to Pet E.R. Unfortunately, my best friend of 13 years died in my arms about a minute before we arrived. Waited three minutes to see a tech with my sick mini schnauzer. Vet was wonderful, in and out in 45 minutes at a busy facility is amazing. Staff could not have treated me or my pup any better. Highly recommended!

One of our fur babies had passed away, and we wanted to cremate her. We live in Fort Meade and originally were trying to go to another clinic with a similar name, but with the state I was in I hit the wrong one on my maps. So we showed up unexpectedly but they took us in with open arms. Not only was the cremation service cheaper than the original clinic had quoted us, but they gave us a clay paw print free of charge, and the ashes came in this nice little wooden box with a name placard on it and everything.
