The West Loop suffers from a serious dearth of physicians' offices; my doctor is on the north side, at least a 20 minute drive from our apartment. Each time I am sick, I lament having to drive all the way there and back, usually while I have a fever. Thank god for this place! I just discovered them and am going to be coming back again. Immediate care is extremely convenient in times when your doctors office may be closed. The doctors at the west loop location are great and truely care about the patients who come through the door. The same cannot be said about the nurses and the front desk nurse. They are rude and act as if you are nothing more than an inconvenience to them. I rarely write reviews, but I was extremely surprised by my experience here. I became ill over a holiday weekend while my regular doctor was out of town and decided to try this establishment due to proximity to home. Staff was professional. Waiting room was clean and spacious. Offices were clean and modern. Registration took about 5 minutes followed by a 5 minute wait. The doctor was professional and a good listener. Went here on a Friday with a sore throat and I was very happy with the service from start to finish. I was in and out within 20 minutes, with a prescription for antibiotics, and they answered all of my questions clearly and concisely. I believe the name of my doctor was Dr. Bauer.
I've been here twice now and both times my experiences were good. First time I was in Florida and broke two of my toes. After returning and realizing something was amiss and the swelling wasn't going down I popped in to see if my assessment was right, a quick exam and a few x-rays later sure enough.. broken toes. I went here today after being injured in a car accident. Everyone was very friendly, especially the doctor and X-ray technician. I did not have to wait long and appreciated the kind staff and clean and comfortable environment. The exam room was very colorful and had an ocean/fish mural that would be nice for children!
This was as good as an experience that I would've expected to have. I called ahead, and they said the wait was 35 to 45 minutes. I waited only 30, which for a walk-in place on the weekends is pretty good. The nurse was on top of things. I wasn't forced to sit in the exam room for forever (like I am at my GP's office). Ive been to this location twice and enjoyed my service there. The doctors have been thorough and personable. The nurses were kind and expediant. I waited less than 15 mins each time to see a doctor. Im not sure how i feel about their "need a credit card on file policy" but based on quality of care Id recommend them.
People on Yelp were right about this place. My experience there was very good; I was quickly taken care of the doctor was to the point but friendly. However I was notified in an email in my Spam folder a month later that I would be charged additional funds for "convenience fees" that my insurance company would not cover. I literally just went in to get a z-pack. Pretty sure my premium insurance plan covers that; the same plan they approved as my provider.
