When your looking for care for your parent it's a tough decision. I'm glad we came here. Safe, friendly staff and clean. Just a good gut feeling. So thankful for Pleasant Hill Post Acute Care
This was a wonderful place I was treated great by the whole staff from the kitchen all the way to the top admiistrator including the best physical therapy that you could get I enjoyed my visit and I left here being able to walk as when I first came there I could barely stand up I would like to thank everybody for taking good care of me and I will pay everybody a visit as soon as I can Richard Maxwell
My mom (now 87) is back in Pleasant Hill Post Acute after a fall. I just can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and the place. She is happy and well-cared-for, getting lots of excellent PT and OT.
My mom was at PHPA for almost three weeks and even though she was crabby about it the whole time, we felt that the care was very good. The people were very kind and patient, the facility was clean and Mom liked the food. They worked hard to get her back on her feet and she is doing better than she has in months. I would recommend the place!
This place is gorgeous! It's clean and feels like a home! I visited someone here and all the people were friendly and helpful. I really felt comfortable and at ease for myself and the patients. No funny scents either! If you are looking or considering a place for acute care, this is your final answer!
Clean, vibrant colors, friendly and accommodating. You don't feel like you're in skilled nursing facility because the place feels "like home". Highly recommended!
We did not have a pleasant experience here. We were told we would get a private room and we didn't. It's a shared room and there is no bathroom. It's also very tight.

After reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to place my father here for rehabilitation after his 2-week stay at John Muir. Neither my father nor I wanted him to go into a nursing facility, but John Muir insisted he spend at least two weeks regaining the strength he had lost. During the first week, my father was not given his prescribed heart medication. I visited daily and quickly noticed he was agitated and confused--clear signs that something was wrong. They won't accept my elderly mother because she only has 9 days of Medicare coverage. They need 14 lol . Even Medicare said that's not normal, plus I have called and left messages and emailed with no response.
