My 97 year old mother was admitted for a 3 week stay. Throughout her entire stay she was treated with love, respect and great care. All the nurses and staff were extremely attentive to her needs and always greeted her with a smile and warmth. She also said the food was very tasty but was a bit on the 'soft' side. We used PHPA as a rehabilitation provider recently, when an out of town family member had a fall while visiting and needed acute rehabilitation placement. PHPA was incredibly accommodating, professional, polite, patient, flexible, and comforting in their entire approach. I have recently been a 'guest' in this facility, after breaking my hip, and all my fears about being in such an establishment were immediately put to rest. The management and all of the staff do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food was extremely well prepared and everyone is given an opportunity to discuss preferred food dishes and dislikes. The employees were kind and devoted with the patients. Their support and dedication made my stay a pleasant one despite my challenges. I felt very comfortable with the place and the people working here. I appreciated how nice they treated me and others as I was able to see the interactions with others. I have had the opportunity to work with the team here at Pleasant Hill Post Acute. Not only is their reputation for care stellar, but the team here shares a vision for greatness and they have implemented systems that allow them to provide outstanding care and an internal work environment/culture that fosters employee retention and catapults nursing careers. Extremely clean. Very welcoming. Friendly environment where the residents feel at home. The staff at Pleasant Hill Post Acute were very attentive, encouraging & patient with my Aunt Colette.
