This place is excellent! The staff is professional, patient and kind and the facility is spotlessly/consistently clean. I was impressed throughout my mom's month-long stay with how much the staff members care about the patients and how good the communication was among the team of people who help each patient. I'm new to this. I don't usually give review, but I found this Yelp note from my dad's discharge packet and I think it's a great idea. Let me just say how much we love this facility - it's not perfect, but the staff there really made sure my dad's stay was comfortable. There's a lot of us in the family that were able to visit my dad and can I just say that we adored Marge. My 94 year-old mother was a patient for 30 + days, after a hospital stay, to allow her to get stronger to return home. Between both my parents, my mother-in-law and other family and friends, I have had experience with several local facilities. I could not be happier (outside of not having to have to go there! ) with the care I received at Pleasant Hill. I live on the east coast and was relying on hospital staff to find the right facility for me. WOW - they did great. I was there for a long 4+ weeks. The nurses are caring and knowledgeable. Their nursing assistants are the hardest workers I have experienced. The facility is clean, bright, with a cooperative staff that addresses all needs quickly. This is a wonderful facility. The staff is professional and caring. The rehab is very clean and homey. There are wonderful activities that the patients can participate in and I have been there when there is live music which was very refreshing. When my father was first referred there, we were impressed by Marje who handled the paperwork efficiently. Mavic handled the discharge and was efficient and followed up to make sure his home care was set up appropriately. I would highly recommend this wonderful facility!

I broke my hip on Dec 15th and operated on Dec 16th so was in the hospital for a week. They recommended Pleasant Hill for rehab. I couldn't have had better care. The physical therapy was excellent! All the nurses, doctors, CNA's and PT's were excellent! Highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs it! Also I am a dialysis patient, they were great on my dialysis days giving me snacks to take with me on those days.

This has been (very) long overdue. My uncle stayed in this place for weeks and went through a lengthy process of rehab and was finally able to come home. I'm actually typing this review on behalf of my dear aunt. She would like to thank everyone who took care of my uncle, but most especially Marj, whose truly a blessing. She would rave at how much Marj helped her a lot during my unc's stay. Marj was always pleasant, cheerful, helpful, and most specially has a lot of patience. My Dad was admitted at Pleasant Hill Post Acute for almost 2 months and he was treated with genuine care and compassion. The staffs like Alex LVN, Rey CNA, Mavic LVN Case Manager, Alvin or Marvin CNA, Julie CNA, the speech therapist Asian Lady, Alexis RN, were the ones that helped him so well, can't thank them enough. This facility is highly recommended. Thank you guys so much for being my dad's family during his stay there.

I had a teriffic encounter with their LVN, Kate F., this morning. She was extremely sweet and helpful while offering her assistance with one of their residents and his family member. The facility is still closed to family, and outside visitors and guests, but she facilitated a meeting with the patient from inside the building, while we were outside his closed window. The parking lot is extremely small, with lots of no parking signs. Note: their sign says Oak Park Post-acute, rather than Pleasant hill post-acute.
