Quality way down comparing with the old unit I’ve had this for 2.5 yrs, it has been stopping working numerous times with so many debugs/parts fix. While the old unit worked 8 yrs without any issue. I have changed most parts of the new one yet it still does a horrible job. See the most recent broken parts in photo you would see how badly it was built, only used 2.5 yrs. Thinking about buying a new robot instead of this pump enabled one.

Base of interior filled with caulk! My Polaris 380 stopped working so I opened it up to trouble shoot. Imagine my surprise when I found the interior body at the base of the feed pipe had been caulked! Not just a line of caulk, but a whole mess of it. As you can see one of the tubes to the vacuum spray had slipped of the end of the housing. And the feed pipe o-ring was deformed and leaking. We’ll see what the seller says, but wondering if this was a return or otherwise reconditioned Polaris.
Good cleaner. Defective zipper on bag Replaced the same previous cleaner with this unit. Unit works well but but has a defective zipper on the bag. Won't open or close. Not going to return entire cleaner for defective zipper.
Very poor plastic quality Delivery was very quick.Removed the Polaris 380 from the box and first noticed the nuts that retain sweep hose were at an angle. Backed one nut off and noticed the hose was cut at an angle and not square. A good sign of poor quality but can be repaired. Continued with unpacking, tried to install filter bag but it pulled off with little effort. How can the bag possibly stay in place? Repaired twice in two years The Polaris 380 unit purchased in 2015 lasted six years and was replaced with the same model in 2021. One of the bearings in the last unit got broken in less than two years. I replaced it. Now one of the wheels went off - a circular crack around the wheel's hub.
DO NOT PURCHASE!!! From In The Swim In The Swim sold me this product as "new" when it was anything but. The first day the bag needed to be replaced but I fortunately had one from my previous Polaris so I thought I was just lucky and kind of forgot about it. The product worked marginally for about a week and then a crack developed in the neck of the unit. I had purchase the item 40 days ago but had it installed only 2 weeks ago by my pool company. Does not work at all I normally don't write reviews but this time I felt I had to. I felt like I had done my research and decided on this cleaner after all of the mostly positive reviews. My experience is that this cleaner does not clean, gets stuck constantly in the corner near the stairs, zipper on catch bag is broken after the first attempted use, and the catch bag has already ripped. Customer service is bad for Polaris When installed - the unit was great. It stopped working and it went south from there. If you call Polaris - you will get put on hold for a long time - I waited on hold for a couple hours then gave up. I called back and left my number for a call back 3 times - to no avail. I would not recommend any Polaris product based on the customer service.I found a service dealer in my city - they fixed it. It worked for about two weeks and the same issue occurred.
