Not in great shape Needs a lot of work and money to get it running.
Broken Part When the Polaris arrived, I unpacked it to find the stem where the back float goes on broken off. I was able to salvage a part off my old one to repair it. It was easier than sending it back and definitely quicker. Probably won't buy this type of product sight unseen.
Cleaner runs like new cleaner was having trouble getting traction in pool; this was just the ticket. Now it scoots around like a 2-yr old. Put a knee high sock in the bag of the cleaner and the dirt won't make it to the filters....works like a champ!! and a LOT less expensive than a new cleaner!!
Polaris hose sweep Unfortunately this product wears out too fast. I can't afford it since it doesn't last long
Works , but way too fragile. Our all-plastic predecessor never did this... Mechanically the sweeper works fine but the design of it's leaf and soil collector bag is too fragile. Our brand new replacement, the one motivating this review, has already begun to slowly break apart? Maybe it's our tough 'oak tree' leaves' but that's what we need to sweep. It doesn't make any sense, but here we are soon to need a second replacement...
it works as expected the item was as i expected. a pool sweep bag for a polaris pool sweep model 380. ive bought both original polaris and after market. i found the after market last as long as original. the price difference is big.
Disappointed with fit and performance. Obviously after-market. The bag has a double velcro openeing which has the tendency to clog with particles and it weakens the grip. There is a reason Polaris designed theirs with only one strip. Also, the clip that locks onto the top of the Polaris cleaning unit is not as effective as the one made by Polaris. It takes numerous tries to get it to lock ionto place. Many times I had to take the unit back out of the pool to re-attach the bag unit because it came off. All in all ... poor des... read more
