Arguably the best on the market! Our 10 year old Polaris 280 (image included) finally gave up the ghost and it we decided to shop for its replacement. We looked at other brands of side pool cleaners but we had such great success with Polaris that, for us, it was only a decision between the Polaris 280 or the 380.Both the 280 and 380 require a booster pump, about a $250 additional cost if you don’t already have one. The Polaris 360 does not require the booster pump and is around $75 less than the 280 and $200 less than the 38... read more
works good suction is great, but the hose seems to twist up fairly often.
Great sweeper, great price fast delivery Excited to see this powerful new sweeper climbing and cleaning our pool. It could not have been easier to install and we were happy with the price. It replaced our old Polaris sweeper (it was at least 14 years old came with the home we bought then).
Polaris = a product for those looking for excellent This Polaris Pool Sweep replaced the first model installed years ago. It had a working life of 45 years. Not many things these days still working after that much time. Difficulties with the back up pump connected me with the seller of the mew unit. Within minutes, the representative told me a replacement was on its way. Congratulations to the manufacturer for building quality and for the re-sellers who still understand the meaning of customer SERVICE.
Good product and great customer service The Polaris 380 was easy to install and the instructions were easy to read. I purchased this vac-sweep because the old one must have been over 10 years old and couldn't be fixed with replacement parts. I was a little confused by the description that mentions the requirement for a booster pump PB4-60 (sold separately) in order for the vac-sweep to work. I didnt understand that the booster pump is not located inside the vac-sweep. I guess it is located somewhere by the filter system and ... read more
Support from the Manufacturer is SUPERB Our Polaris 380 died after only 15 months. We replaced many parts to no avail. SquareTrade, the company we purchased a 3 year extended warranty from, refused to honor the warranty without a letter from the manufacturer Zodiac. Amazon helped to reach out to Zodiac to try and obtain that letter. Rather than do that, Zodiac REPLACED THE UNIT!
Works great This was a replacement for the exact one I have had for 14 years. Once installed it worked excellent. Didn’t realize how much better it Cleans than the old one that was all tuckered out. I have a very large Inground cement pool. It works great . I would recommend it.
My first Polaris 380 lasted 25 or so years, why not buy another one? I use the Polaris 380 for 2 hours every day. Even being from Oklahoma, I use it all year. I use a minnow net as a cover,no solid pool cover, the Polaris cleans the bottom, I blow off the leaves and small sticks from a massive oak tree in our yard. Of course one needs to replace the collection bag, or tires, or other small pieces of the system, but the base runs and runs.
polaris 380 blows nautlis cc plus out of the pool, hands down last 380 died after 10 years could fix it with parts but its time to just get a brand new one , cause last attempt to fix old one lasted 2 years .now i tried the nautalis cc plus robot cleaner which every one boosts about, but if you have a pool with many angels like roman ends the nautiliscc plus cleaner just dosnt get the pool clean nearly as well as the polaris 380 so here i am happy to say my new 380 is doing a great job just like his dad did for many years , ... read more
