Poor customer service We purchased this vac for our pool just less than a month ago. The part that connects into the pool connector cracked and leaking water which affects performance of the vac, plus very expensive and really thought it would last longer than 25 days! We expected high quality from the reviews and the price. We have tried repeatedly to contact product support and can only get chat service which is absolutely no help at all. Poor Customer Service The Polaris arrived with the official manufacturer sealing tape re-taped. Everything looked ok so I measured and cut the hoses to fit my pool. When I put it in the pool the Polaris 380 would not climb the walls or steps. When I took it out I found the “head float” was full of water. When I asked the seller to replace the head float they insisted that I return the entire package, measured and cut hoses and all. Assessment of Polaris 380 Polaris backup valve inoperative-seemed like excessive water coming from the wall connection valve- the unit movement was very erratic/unresponsive. Unit was returned for refund.
Do not buy, item does not work as advertised. Poor design and adjustments don’t work. Waste of $ This item is the worst product I have ever purchased I have been trying to get it to work for almost a year now using all of their silly adjustments. Quality Issue I've had the same product for the last 10 years, and the cleaner has worked great. Then I purchased it again for the replacement. The product started having problems after 30 days of purchase. The one-year warranty covers parts but the buyer has to pay for the labor, and the labor is so expensive. I was disappointed by the quality of the product.

Make sure the gear train is all intact , and screws are tightened . First robot lasted 14 years . This one lasted only 4 years before the transmission let go.
Avoid buying this! If I could give this 0 stars, I would. This thing has never worked correctly since day 1 and internal parts broke down on multiple occasions. This unit costs a lot of money and it’s simply not worth it.
Not the same as my first one, lower quality and parts? not sure Looked to be legit but works like crap, nothing like my old oue that wasa the same model. How is that possible?
