Does the job This replaced another brand that was several years old and just wasn't working well any more, even with all sorts of new parts. The other brand brags about being more stable because of 4 wheels (v. 3). However, this one seems to stay upright pretty well. It didn't get 5 stars because it seems to get sort of hung up in a particular pattern which I manually correct when I notice it. Only had it for about a month before covering the pool for the winter leaf season (and removed the sweeper).

Worth every penny! This is our second Polaris and we love it. The old one wasn't moving very well and when we started piecing it out for repair decided a new one was the smarter choice. This cleaner will climb walls, covers every corner of the pool and is easy to clean (empty the bag). The Amazon price was hundreds less expensive than every place I looked at or called. I would call this a Great Buy!!!

WOrks Great A Polaris came with our pool, when we bought our house, 7 years ago. In the beginning it ran all over the pool, cleaning, spraying water with its tail and running up and down the sides. Over time it slowed down and I became familiar with disassembling it. It became standard practice every spring to take it a part and head to the pool store. This year I checked Amazon and found the price for a new Polaris was $150.00 less than the local pool parts store. They wanted $699.00. I ordered it with regular delivery and ... read more

Happy little soul My polaris was about 15 years old, and would find a corner in my pool and sit there and spin for three hours. I was concerned that my pump was losing power.Bought this little dude and installed in about ten minutes (I am not really good at this sort of thing). It went right to work, and happily cleaned my pool. You could al;most hear it whistle while it worked.Very pleased.

Pricey, expensive to maintain over time but works best This is my 3rd in the 18 years we've had this home with a pool. **** update after 11 months of use below****The 380 runs about 3 hours a day ( large pool). Replacement parts such as the collection bag are expensive, I use a piece of panty hose once the bag wears out. The tires do wear down and a soft rubber shoe goop type stuff can be used to "re-tread". I use pieces of scotch brite pad to replace the sweeper pad. ( complete rebuild kits including bearings are about $225... read more

Pourquoi faire compliqué quand on peut faire simple !!

Piece of junk for $699.00 This is the worst pool cleaner I have ever used. The hose and tail continually come apart so Polaris just sits on the bottom while the hose moves around in the pool. We have tried everything to keep the hose and tail attached but nothing works. The pool does not get cleaned unless you are watching the Polaris during the time it is cleaning the pool. Very dissatisfied with this product.
