I bought another to replace a 7 year old unit. I can't keep the wheels on the new one . It won't protect my liner . They made the holes too big for the screws to get a grip. Wheels fall off in less than 20 min of operation.
Waste of money Like all the others, the unit would back up and get entangled within itself. One of the jets would never work properly. The seller would not exchange for the price that I paid for it. After I purchased the cleaner and it would not work, the price on Amazon had gone up. I was told I had to return the cleaner and get a refund and then repurchase the same product at the higher price. Really? What a total joke!
Not what I thought it would be Although I like the concept of this product, it's not made very well.
Didn't work. They wouldn't replace or refund It didn't work. Called Customer service several times. Did everything they said do. Then my return time was up so they wouldn't refund or exchange.
Damaged product Damaged product sent. Received the Polaris pool cleaner today and it is damaged and does not work. I was concerned upon opening the box because the Polaris itself looked USED ! There were scratches on the Polaris and 1 of the wheels is bent. In addition the COUPLER attached to the FLOAT HOSE (ITEM J) is leaking and spouting water ! I would NOT recommend purchasing products through this seller.
Wouldn't hook up Bought it for an above ground pool. Didn't have time to put it up for a bit and then once the pool was up we attempted to install on our brand new intex pool. Of course it didn't have an adapter to fit. I called intex and the polaris65 people and nope. No help or adapter suggestion there. So it's just sitting there. Unattached. Useless.
Worked great for maybe a month I wish this worked right and would continue working. I got maybe a month out of it. It would just curl itself up everytime but didnt do it in beginning. I called company and they sent me a replacement mechanism but the end didnt have the hole drilled so didnt work. I called again but no help this time. I drilled it out like the old one but neither works right. Both old and new mechanism gets stuck constantly with the shaft moving between forward and back. Not Worth the Money This pool cleaner worked the first 2 times I used it then all it does is go in reverse and get wrapped around the return hose. At times the thing flips over and shoots water all over the place.
Do not bother ! It gets tangled around the tubing and can't get itself undone.
