Not happy with this product. Quit working after 2 uses, would only go 1 direction.
Horrible Product!! Horrible!! Won’t keep going and have to keep on starting it out again. 4 hours and none if the pool is clean.
Broken pool cleaner I bought this 2 summers ago. Suddenly one of the jets were not working. The company I bought it from sent me extras, still didn’t work. By then warranty was out so here I am stuck with a $200 pool cleaner that really never worked!
Had hoped for better. We've now had this Polaris for a year. During its very first use, 2 wheels that protect the liner fell off the floating portion of the Polaris. I kept trying to fix them, using the existing plastic, but they wouldn't stay on, so I had to rig the wheels myself. In its second summer (we only have 4 months of pool open time), a year from purchase, several holes developed in the hose that goes from the Polaris to the net that picks up gunk off the bottom. Poor service Guide wheels fell off in first week of use.Unfortunately we did not set vacuum up when we first received it. So they would not cover the failure
Got runaround for replacement part. Returning whole unit and buying elsewhere Unit fell apart after second use. Wheel fell off asked for replacement part instead of returning whole unit. After numerous pictures and emails was told to go to manufacturers because that part isn’t their warranty.
Buy at your own risk! I owned one of these from 1997 through 2003. I had no problems and loved it! I was shocked to see I could still buy one so I did. One of the surface wheels fell off within the first week. I screwed it back in and it fell off again two more times over the course of the next week. I finally glued it on and as soon as I went to try it out, it no longer went forward, only reverse. Works poorly Worked poorly from the beginning. Did not come with instructions or extra parts. That these normally come with.
Not as expected So where do I Start... unfortunately, the main unit is just junk. I've tried my best to make it work smoothly but it just doesn't.First off, the main head unit has these round bumpers that are held in by plastic philips head screws that justkeep falling out. I've screwed them back in more times than I can count. It's just not worth my time anymore. Simply put, theyre all out now.
