Doesn’t work like it should I was I would have read the reviews on this more. We had one before this one that worked great this one had been a pain in our necks. We have tried everything but it keeps wanting to turn over or go in circles. When we first got it I reached out for help but never got it honestly I wouldn’t buy it again
Received an apparently used unit with part missing The unit is a Five rating but I downgraded it because of receiving an apparently used unit. The box contained a part that I didn't recognize. After installing unit and not being able to get it to work properly I looked up information and thanks to Youtube found videos. Discovered that the extra part in the box was an internal part for the unit and was the reason it didn't work properly. I installed the part and re-tested and it works great. I am retuning the unit for a new o... read more
Quality not has goodWorks like stated but The media could not be loaded. Had previously rated it with a five star but since, three months or so the wheels became loose and I lost a pin that holds one of the wheels. The first one I had lasted for years with only replacing the net.
Does a good job when new and working properly. This is are third unit within a 5 year period. Their downfall is that simply do not last more than a year to 18 months. They have all failed in this time period. Resulting in them taking on water causing the unit to disfunction. Will not buy again.
Does not function well at all I had replaced this unit 4 times in the pass 3 years. I had parts...hoses, i was told to leave the hose in the sun to get ginks out, reduce the pressure, internal mechanism, whole product. The first unit worked for about 2 weeks. After that it was all down hill. The unit would not go in an opposite direction, hose would tangle, the unit would back up and get entangled in itself. Reducing the pressure did not work, I was even told to remove the pressure completly. Well, with that, no movement. Af... read more
Very much regretting this purchase Delivered quickly. It simply doesn't function as designed or advertised. It's supposed to wander across the surface randomly while the sweeper blows trash from the bottom into a receptacle bag. However, all it wants to do is travel in a backward circle. When the unit gets a bit of water in it (um, it's in a pool, folks), it rears up, flips over and sprays jets of water out of the pool. Threw out my packaging, like a fool, and searched online everywhere for advice or a service number. Nothin... read more
It’s supposed to work so I don’t have to For the money, I guess you get what you pay for. It wants to work, and I want it to work, but it normally fails. When it first comes on it does great. Then it gets near the outlet and coils itself up and spends the rest of the day there. I’m hoping that it is due to hose memory, and it’ll get better once we get into summer and it warms up enough to straighten it out, but I’m not very optimistic. I have tried adding a photo of it coiled up, but the add photo button is no longer showing... read more
Very thin opening on the front of the net? this thing might suck a few leaves at a time in the bag, but I just watched it bust up a pile of leaves and ultimately just pushed them around. The opening on the net is so thin, I don’t understand that? If it runs across a clump of leaves, maybe 3 will go in. May only be useful for a pool that is already free of leaves and using it to maintain. I bet this thing won’t even keep up with the tree I have dropping them
Really Poor First Outing and Getting Worse This is 3rd one I've purchased. First two worked out of the box and Randomized, eventually degraded to endless coiling. Disappointed with this new one:Bag attachment came of twice in first 15 minutes. Does not snap into place like previous ones. Had to use a zip tie to keep it in place.Randomized somewhat, but has coiled up 4 times , and there is still debris on the bottom. Considering sending it back for a refund. Takes longer to keep it to working than just vacuuming the pool manu... read more
