Second one I’ve bought and would buy again Second one I’ve had, as long as the pool Filter is clean so you have good water pressure it keeps my pool clean. When it stops working efficiently or the hose gets tangled I know the filter needs to be cleaned
Sometimes it works great and sometimes not My first Polaris was terrible. It wrapped itself in a circle by the skimmer and never moved. hated it! The company sent me another one. it worked great the first time. Scooted all over and around the pool, but now it does the same occasionally as the old one until I physically move it out, then it works great, but it will eventually find the one area and get wrapped up in the hose, then I move it again. A great cleaner. It’s held up very well and does a great job of cleaning my above ground 28 ft round pool.
Frustrating I had one of these for 7 years and it worked great. This one is constantly tangled because the hose connections don’t spin freely. Very frustrating
Works for me I have used this pool cleaner for the past 20 years on 3 of my pools. It does not get every inch of the pool. But we like it because it has it's own net to catch the debris and circulates the water. At times mine has circled up or one end would tip into the water deeper than the other sides. When this happens, I take the cover off and drain all the water out. Between the different pools I've had, I have shortened the hose. Sparkling clean pool! my pool is clean and I didnt have to kill my arms to do it! the only down side is cleaning the bag, but it is much easier than using the battery operated vacuum which had to be cleaned out multiple times with each use. should have gotten this years ago!
A must buy Pool floor has never been cleaner
It doesn't suck, it Blows. Be very aware that this product is not a vacuum. It hooks to your return line and blows the dirt into the little leaf bag. We did not know this so this required us to redo all of the plumbing on our pool. Also, do not follow the installation instructions. Watch the YouTube videos. The included instructions will have you cutting your hoses too short. Luckily my husband prefers to watch a video so we were saved that tragedy. That being said, my pool has never been cleaner! Rosie (robot from The Jetsons) It came with our pool, so this not a verified purchase. Each and everyday she gathers up leaves and debris. I couldn’t be happier! 27’ above ground, but I still have to brush the sides and floor weekly. The four year old twins are now swimming underwater-they chase the bag. Usually take her out when swimming, but the grandkids think she is one of them. When throwing out jewels to be found, Rosie will pick up her fair share, goggles too!
