First year with a robotic cleaner and wondering why I waited so long! Cleaner has done a great job with leaves and larger debris, but tends to just stir-up the fine dirt that vacuuming to the sand filter would take care of. I bought the extra-fine mesh filter to help with fine debris and it does work better than the standard filter. The wi-fi feature doesn't seem to be of much value, but my cleaner does connect with my network as it should. Family loves how easy it is to keep the pool clean now! Only issue we have is with the wrapping the cord back up.
I have used the Polaris 9650iQ for a couple of months and it works great. Easy to use and easy to clean. Highly recommend. Only potential issue is you need a strong wi-if signal to the controller if you plan to sync it with your iPhone. I have wireless internet only and sometimes it is an issue. You can operate manually without the wi-fi connection.
Overall I like bot and feel like it does a great job cleaning the pool. The cord does tangle and needs to be fixed often. Other than that - all good.
This little robot does a great job of keeping our 35,000 gallon salt pool clean. We live on 5 wooded acres and have struggled to keep the pool clean in the past. The Polaris 650iq with its scheduling and intuitive control smartphone app make keeping the pool clean and ready for use.
Way better than the first generation unit we had that you guys replaced the motor twice in one season because it kept dying.
