This thing is AWESOME! I wasted the first 3 years on the equipment that came with our new pool. I complained to a neighbor about it and he demonstrated his Polaris. I ordered one and found the set up and app super easy. Most importantly, it picks up everything and the pool stays clean. I love it!
Difficult App Setup First off, I love this vac! It is very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning. The remote control on the app works great. I can maneuver the vac anywhere in the pool and clean the areas that need extra attention. Now for the bad. The app is extremely difficult to program. Either the control head or the app needs to be tweaked by the manufacturer to make this work. Polaris 9650iQ Sport Robotic Cleaner Works Great! My new Polaris 9650iQ Sport Robotic Cleaner works extremely well. It cleaned both the bottom and the sides of the pool quickly and efficiently as I expected it would. (I previously owned a Polaris robot cleaner - earlier generation - and it too worked like a champ). I was, however, a bit disappointed in the functionality of the iAquaLink smart control for the robot. I couldn't get it to work, even with the assistance of Fluidra tech support. Large Pool Must-Have! We recently refurbished our 35,000 gallon pool (max depth 8ft), adding a sun shelf, nicer pebble marcite, and brilliant tile surround, and I needed some extra help to ensure we are taking the best care of it possible. Works well Easy to assemble. Mobile device control is mostly easy to set up. Cleaning action is excellent. Manual navigation becomes much easier once you realize that tilting your mobile device controls the actions (as well as touching the screen). Strong recommend
