Writing an updated review. After having this for 6 months and through fall I am very happy. This pool cleaner picks up everything! Lots of leaves, sticks, twigs and even algea. The fine mesh filter gets it all and is easy to clean. The best part though is the tangle free cord, that was a big problem with my last robot but I dont have to worry about that with this one.

It is a very effective cleaner. The one challenge we sometimes encounter is the cord gets wrapped up.

Nice product!!!!!
This is one expensive robot. But it is so much easier to work with than our old one of another brand. It does a great job after it’s cycle the pool is clean and sparkling. The only issue I have is the body of the robot has some fit and finish issues (uneven parts) for such a price. Also the cord gets stiff in cold weather and gets tangled easily. I love the app and the way it comes to you when time to take it out of the pool. All in all I would buy again.

This Polaris does an excellent job of cleaning the pool. I am amazed at how much grit comes out each time I vacuum. Yes it’s more expensive and a little more work but it does such a great job it’s worth it.yes I would recommend this machine!
I was skeptical, how could a sleek design be hardy enough to clean my pool. But I'm convinced. It been running daily for a year. Yes I have to occasionayly vacuum manually, but very occasionally...I empty and clean it every week. During and After a bad wind or dust storm I'll run an extra cycle or two. This is by far the best investment we've made when it comes to our in-ground pool. Besides making the whole aspect of pool-cleaning easier with simply a touch of a button, it has even managed to improve the quality of our pool surface by removing scale and algae that evades even vigorous hand brushing using stainless steel brushes!
