    The compact and rechargeable nature of the machine is nice, but it doesn’t clean the pool. It does fine with leaves, but doesn’t pickup dirt and smaller particles. For the cost of the machine, I shouldn’t have to vacuum by hand after it runs.

    Machine failed after cleaning only once and told has bad lithium ion battery and are stil waiting for the replacement. It took a lot of constant phone cals to finally get answer and this has taken almost 3 weeks now.

    I bought this Pool vacuum 2 weeks ago and loved that there is no cord or power supply. I have used the vacuum 6 times, and it does not clean the bottom edges and corners of the pool. I am very disappointed and would return and buy another model if possible. I have had a Polaris before, and it worked great. Unfortunately, I now have this model. Very frustrated that it does bot clean the pool properly.

We recommend regularly disposing of all debris and thoroughly cleaning the filter canister with mild soap and a soft brush.     The robot doesn’t clean the waterline after the first 10-15 mins. Which also means you have to scope it from the bottom every time.

    Hi Craig, During the last 10 minutes of the cycle, the cleaner will climb to different walls and wait at the waterline. Remove using the handle. Water will expel to make it lighter (Not available in Floor Only mode). If the cleaner is not removed at the waterline, it will return to the floor at the end of the cycle.     It cleans well however I am getting error code 25 more often than not when I put it back on the charger. My local pool place is now going to just swap it and send it back to Polaris. Quite a pain.

    I purchased this unit from Leslie's that had to order it because the stores in Phoenix AZ area do not carry this model yet. The Polaris Freedom stopped charging after 4 uses. Used the manual to troubleshoot and was not able to resolve. Called the technical support #; received numerous messages "we are having extending hold times, please call back the next day", then the system disconnects/hangs up. Had to deal with calling back multiple times for 3 days. Finally was able to talk to tech support and they said the charging ... read more

    The robot moves well but doesn't do any cleaning. I spent over couple of thousand dollars to do less work myself. now I have to take care of Robot and clean the pool as well

    I have a lagoon shaped pool. It does not clean the pool adequately and misses areas regularly. I would not buy this unit again...and would return it if it was eligible for a return.

    Can’t control it once in the water so a lot of the features like remote control is a useless feature
