This is our first pool cleaner. We have an in ground cement pool. Overall, I think it does a great job. My only complaint, but research led me to believe this problem is common, is that it stays in the deep end most of the time.

For optimal patterning and reduced tangling, the floating cable should enter the water near the middle of the pool length. I love its cleaning ability. The 2 things I now know is the easy lift on the 9450 sport and the fact that it never got "stuck" on my pool drain was a good thing. But the ckeaning of the p825 is wonderful!

Pool looks fantastic overall. We only have to run it 1-2 times per week whereas our old unit was daily. (We have a cover on the pool). We’re a little disappointed it doesn’t climb to our bench seats or stairs since we were told it would. The rolling unit is heavy and a bit clunky to maneuver at first, but we’re getting more used to it.

The Polaris p825 does well with the exception it does not get the smaller particles on the bottom of the pool. It does stir up that dirt but does not suck it into the filter.

Easy to assemble and set up. Easy to operate and set for my pool. Did a great job on a pretty dirty pool that is now pretty clean. I would recommend for a gunite in ground pool.
