The device works well in my application. No problems other than the cord does get twisted and has to be untangled occasionally. I replaced the original filter basket with the finer mesh. This gets more of the fine particular matter which was a problem in my pool.....and still works fine for leaves

Here are some suggestions to improve the cord tangling issue: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory. 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently toss the necessary cable across the pool water for even distribution instead of dropping the cable in a lump in one spot. I love it. It cleans nice and really good.. gets the small particles and climbs walls and most steps. The only thing I don’t like is having to take it in and out of pool between cleaning..

This is the 2nd Polaris we've owned. Not having a Polaris in the pool doing all the work is no longer an option. Cleaning the pool was always our daughters responsibility until she left for college. I resumed cleaning for less then a month before my husband surprised with our 1st Polaris. Years later it was time for a new one and this time I made the purchase. Life is good with a Polaris P825! Very easy to use and clean after use. It is actually interesting to watch how the cleaner runs around the pool bottom and especially how it climbs the walls and steps. It does a very nice job of picking up dirt and debri on the bottom including sand like particles.The hand cart makes it easy to move the cleaner in and out of storage.

Have only had Polaris P825 2 months. It is easy to use. Cleans excellent. Easy to clean. Nice that it is a plug in. So much nicer than the pool pump operated Polaris previously used for 5 years.
