It works well enough. Seems I have to re-direct it at times as it doesn't cover the whole pool

    Business response:

Thanks for choosing Polaris, Edward! A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. When positioned centrally along the pool, the robot will clean with the most optimal pattern and widest range of coverage. We hope this tip was helpful.... read more

Easy to use but leaves shavings from the tread in my plaster pool. Have to run it twice to go over the entire pool.

I’m a bit disappointed in the product because it seems to go over the same spots all the time and leaves the same areas undone. Also it tends to get stuck on our bottom filter/grate so we have to keep an eye on it constantly.

I rated the Polaris okay because my husband has to be here to take the Polaris out of the pool because it’s a bit heavy for me. And also you have to be careful not to trip over the cords, but overall, it cleans the pool.

    Business response:

Hi Sarah, Thanks for rating the Polaris P825 Robotic Pool Cleaner! Here are some removal tips: 1) Press the Start/Stop button to stop the cycle before attempting to remove it. 2) Gently pull on the floating cable to bring the cleaner handle within arm's reach. 3) Use the handle to lift the cleaner from the water and hold it vertically over the pool surface to completely drain the water from the unit before removing. Tip: Never lift the cleaner out of the pool by the floating cable. We hope these tips help. For more r... read more

Cleans great. Does an amazing job on the walls. Easy to maintain. Cord tangles badly and no automatic programming. Wish I had bought the nicer one for those features.

    Business response:

Thanks for sharing your story, Ricky! We're happy to hear that the Polaris P825 is performing satisfactorily in your pool. Here are some suggestions to improve the cord tangling issue: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory. 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently toss the necessary cable across the pool water for even distr... read more

This robotic cleaner is a game changer! Easy to set up, easy to use and cleans great. I typically run it through a few cycles to clean all areas of the pool - but overall would definitely recommend!
