Robot works well, sornwyine have to run multiple cycles for it to pick up the entire floor of the pool. Collection basket is too small
It seems to be cleaning the bottom of the pool well and does okay on the walls. It is difficult to plug in to one outlet that covers the whole pool. It does not handle the built in seats at all. We had a green pool and we’re about at our top with frustration and it did the job to get it blue and has continued to stay blue so far.
Favorite part is the top filter/easy empty. It does not clean every inch of my pool so I have to run it multiple times to cover the whole thing.
1st time I used was a piece of cake, did a great job. Only complaint so far is the. assembling of the cart. The wheel clip and piece of the tray broke on one side while trying to install one of the wheels. Called and emailed the company for replacement parts but haven’t heard from them. Called dealer where I purchased cleaner they ordered parts and said would be in 5 days, that was 3 weeks ago, also haven’t heard from them. purchased cleaner less than years ago unit was repaired twice under warranty and now the main motor is faulty and send a message to polaris and no response all previous reviews were erased I would not recommend this machine
I have a fiber glass pool and it does not pick up the fine particles as well as my "Dolphin" robotic cleaner did. Your service department sent out a different basket and it's does better but still does not clean every particle. Your service department also advised some issues with our sand filter which we have replaced the sand etc but still we do not get a clean pool every time we use it. Constantly gets stuck on the main drain in the pool.
My Polaris p825 keeps stopping and the error message says it has a clog. But nothing is clogging it and the basket has barely anything in it. So when it does it’s job and starts gathering dirt, it all together stops. I clean it completely and it will start again and work for a few minutes for me to rinse, repeat. Frustrating!
This is our 2nd pool cleaner, having replaced a 3-yr old Dolphin DX3 that gave up the ghost. The positive: This bot is much easier to clean than the Dolphin; the transparent top allows you to gauge how much debris is in the basket, and removing the basket and cleaning both it and the bot are much easier than it was with the Dolphin - whereas the dual-A-frame filters of the Dolphin required 10-15 minutes to clean, the P825 can be cleaned in less than half the time.
