I am very disappointed. It doesn’t clean and make the pool like I thought and was told it would. I am thinking about returning it. I find I still have to get out their and vacuum the pools walls, floor edges, stoves...so what does this clean? Exactly my point...

This was a good cleaner. It climbed the walls, steps, and cleaned along the waterline. However, it does not last. I have had the cleaner since January 2017 and now it no longer works. I took it in to Leslie Pool for repair and was told that it needs a new motor. I was also told that it would be cheaper to just buy a new cleaner. I am not happy about the lack of quality with regards to durability. I do not want to spend nearly $1,000.00 every two years just to clean the pool. I am now shopping for a new cleaner and I am not... read more

The Polaris P825 really excels at picking up large leaves that would normally clog my Kreepy Krauly which is why I bought it in the first place, but after using it now for about 5 months, I do have buyer's remorse for the following reasons: 1. While it picks up grit, it doesn't pick up fine sand/dirt that often gets blown into my pool during the high winds (in Los Angeles). Instead it recirculates it and it ends up falling to the bottom of the pool once the water settles again. This required me to keep my Kreepy Krauly to ... read more

P825 will not climb walls more than 4ft from bottom. Also, it does not cover areas at both ends of the pool equating to about 25% of the deep end and 25% of the shallow end. I am returning for a refund.or a different unit.

I was told it would pick up D.E. fine particulate and it doesn't it was a waste of my money to buy the P.O.S. You live and learn I've just wasted $1,000 as a learning experience.

    Business response:

Hello Keith, We are interested in learning more about your retail experience. Please email your contact information to feedback@zodiac.com. We want to learn more about your pool and help determine which pool cleaner would be best for the debris specific to your geographical area. All the Best, Your Polaris Team

Cord always gets tangled, misses a lot of area's on the bottom, you have to manually program it to run every day, going back to a pressure cleaner

    Business response:

Hello Robert, Thank you for your feedback. We suggest the following to help with the issues you are experiencing: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory. 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently toss the necessary cable across the pool water for even distribution instead of dropping the cable in a lump in one spot. The Polaris P825 is unbelievable. It cleans the walls, steps and everything else. The pool water has never looked better.

I like how it works there is only one problem with the emptying it. The grit gets into the open button and the handles making it hard to open. Also the basket to clean makes the grit stick and is hard to remove even with washing. I'm afraid after several uses the mess will rip.
