Very easy to use and it does a wonderful job! It does a wonderful job cleaning and it does find it's way all around the pool during it's 2 hr cleaning. I've not had it climb the walls yet but might try that later today. This machine does a fabulous job!! I'm a 66 yr old female and I was able to get it going very easily. Instructions are easy to follow too!!

Stop looking and buy this cleaner I had been looking for a new cleaner, previously owning a Dolpin Nautlius. It was still going when I sold it, so the Dolphin is a solid machine. I then purchased the Aiper cordless vacuum and I was very impressed with it's performance but honestly it was a lot of trouble to have to keep charging, ran only 1.5 hour and then had to be charged for 7-8 hours. I had been looking at the Polaris, but since it is an older model, I wasn't having any luck. Then one day, suddenly these appeared. I purchased and couldn't be happier. It comes with a general purpose filter that is amazingly easy to clean. I have a 20x40 pool and my electric is close, so I have no problem with the P825 reaching all areas of the pool. I have no issues with it getting stuck on the drain and the first pool cleaner that actual climbs the stairs. The picture that I've included is after the pool appeared sparkling clean. I purchased the ultra fine filter from Wild West Pool Supplies and popped this in and ran on floor only. Don't listen to anyone that posts that it does't pick up sand - again, the picture is after the pool was visually clean and it still picked up more dirt. The included cart is another benefit of buying Polaris brand. No tools required and it assembles in about 10 minutes. The cord never tangles and I've run about four times now. Climbs walls like Spiderman and you can actually see how much suction this thing has through the clear basket. Very simply to use and a I said, plenty of cord for a 40 foot pool, but again, depending upon where your electric is. Most manufacturers will tell you not to use an extension cord, but I check with several electricians and they confirmed that as long as you use the lowest gauge cord, the cleaner will be fine. 10 gauge is the recommend cord size if you need one. Hope this helps someone make a decision to purchase. I don't think you'll be disappointed

Unfortunately I tried 2 models of another Dolphin brand and they were lemons out of the box. This one worked great out of the box. My only complaint is all New models have a short run time. I have a big enough pool 18x34 and an hour and a half really isn’t exactly enough time to give it a good cleaning. I wish they they had a few timing options for cleaning. The vacuum power, cleaning basket, wall climbing features are great. Although it is expensive these models are worth it. You don’t have to worry about cleaning out the filter or anything. Just take the vacuum out, rinse the basket, and you’re good to go.

Solid B but not perfect When we had our in-ground pool installed, it came with a robot vacuum that is no longer produced. It survived 3 years and finally died this Spring. I found this Polaris on sale so I bought it. It’s a beautiful design and very easy to clean. The robot struggles in several areas of the pool particularly on the bottom drains. It will get confused and sometimes just stay there for long periods of time. It picks up trash pretty well but more slowly than my last one. I also wish it had an instant ON option so I could use my wifi power to be able to turn it on remotely when I’m not home. Overall I’m happy but may find something else when this eventually dies.

Random pattern not great Suction power for climbing vinyl pool wall is not great. Had to turn it to highest setting. Random pattern never covers entire pool floor or walls. Seems to cover same areas and never covers same areas. I don't like the fact that you can't put it in and go on about your day or put it in at night a pool is clean in the morning, you have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't tangle the cord. For almost $1000. It's not worth it.
