    About this business

Our most popular automatic pool cleaner The Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 pressure-side pool cleaner works in all in-ground pools and requires a booster pump. It is powered by double jets, providing greater vacuum power and faster cleaning (3 hours or less). The Polaris 280 easily connects to a dedicated pressure line and sweeps, scrubs, and vacuums all surfaces of the pool. The pressure cleaner is equipped with a single chamber filter bag where it captures large debris such as leaves, acorns, pebbles, and other small to large debri... read more

Works great! This is my second 280. I really like it. Had a part break from the pressure relief valve. I think it’s a design flaw. My older model is different and never had an issue with that part. I worked with the seller directly and got the part replaced easily. Even with that, I still recommend it.

Exactly what we were looking for. Working like a charm. Doesn’t get stuck and runs the whole pool in a couple of hours.

Works well but requires your attention The product is very fragile outside the pool due to the plastics. It has good suction and sweeps the pool well. The line gets tangled quite often which can be frustrating.

Good price, easy to install My old Polaris 280 finally gave up after about 15 years. I had replaced various parts over time but this season decided I should just replace the whole unit. Two things: One a hose too long is a bad thing. It will just get tangled up. You can always cut it shorter, so start too long and work you way down. Two. If the water is pushed too fast ... read more

Least expensive and works as well the others Every year, I have to I replace the Polaris. I’ve tried the all the models and this one works as well as the others but cheaper. So, if you are going to have to replace it next year, might as well be the least expensive.

Great value This model is much better than the more expensive 380 model. The 380 model has a belt drive that will wear over time. I run this on a timer for 2 hours a day and the pool is very clean.

Basic is better than the bells and whistles. Gets tied up in the hoses, but my pool looks great. The large diameter hose of my prior upend cleaner was useless over time.
