Happy with my first Polaris 280, so replaced it with identical model after seven years I take care of the pool myself, so keeping it clean needs to be easy and efficient. My first Polaris lasted 7 years, so was happy to use the same one again. I am glad there is a video online how to measure hose lengths as I had forgotten the procedure from the first one installed..
3 wheels better than 4 The Polaris is replacing a 4 wheel pool vacuum.
So Active It Seems Alive! We replaced our old Polaris with a new one when the replacement of parts became cumbersome. This new one is very good. Pool is definitely clean every morning. One complaint is the collection bag has a zipper instead of Velcro. That would be easier but the zipper often sticks. Doesn’t open smoothly. Back to Velcro, please! Otherwise we like our “sea monster” as the grandchildren call it.

My third one. My third one of these. First one lasted 10 years. Second one lasted 2-3 years. I bought this one and shortened the hose and made adjustments per instructions and it has really out performed my second one. Hope it lasts as long as my smart one! They are a must, if you have an inground pool!
Great Value Worked as described for my 20,000 gallon pool.
It was time for a new pool cleaner. My old Polaris finally wore out. This unit was the perfect replacement. The price was right and the installation was very easy. Some slight adjustment was needed but now it works very well. The pool is clean once again.
