The vacuum is good but in less than a week the bag got stuck in one of the vacuum wheels and it was ripped. I tried to get another bag but I couldn’t find the exact one. The one it had had a zipper and I only found the one with velcro. I prefer the zipper one.

Bought it from Az Pool Supply in Scottsdale, Az. Really like it. My previous Polaris was the 280 and it lasted for 20 years!

It does a good job vacuuming the debris from the bottom of the pool. My main beefs are: 1. The line attached to the cleaner keeps coiling up so that I have to manually uncoil it. 2. It has a tendency to tilt towards the side with the 2 wheels and not ride flat on the bottom of the pool.

If your hoses are getting tangled, we suggest checking the swivels and making sure they are spinning freely. Lay the hose out in the sun for 24 hours to eliminate any potential hose memory. If your cleaner is tilting on its side, please check the filter bag. If it is full, it can weigh the cleaner down on one side. You can also remove the head float and shake it. cleans the entire pool bottom very well, limited cleaning on sides and none on stairs which is fine. Setting up is straight forward as long as you exactly follow the instructions provided.

I've had a Polaris,280 for a very long time.y old one was very worn out. The new one is great. Also, very clear installation instructions. Works perfectly, a few nice upgrades.
