It's fine, but over 30+ years I've had to purchase a new one every ~5 years for various reasons. Wasn't bad enough for me to consider a different brand, but just accepted the subpar (in my view) lifespan. Sometimes I would have it tuned up, wheel rubbers replaced, bags, etc., but wear & tear always won the race. It was always something. The tail hose never seems to stay adjusted perfectly, and it always gets tangled up eventually. I like the cleaning power, the light weight and the convenience. However, cleaning out the mesh "baskets" is difficult and nasty. Also, even with an extra hose swivel and extra effort to bleed out all the air from the unit, it still does not stay on the pool bottom 1/3 of the time.
