Its been awhile since we purchased the unit and i'm happy to say it still is working great, thank you.
It's fine, but over 30+ years I've had to purchase a new one every ~5 years for various reasons. Wasn't bad enough for me to consider a different brand, but just accepted the subpar (in my view) lifespan. Sometimes I would have it tuned up, wheel rubbers replaced, bags, etc., but wear & tear always won the race. It was always something. The tail hose never seems to stay adjusted perfectly, and it always gets tangled up eventually. Excellent piece of equipment that is easy to maintain and runs consistently well.
Sweep gets stuck way too often
The Polaris does a great job for me. Never have to vacuum!

The first one I had operated for 25 years that is why I bought another one.
Great machine
I like the cleaning power, the light weight and the convenience. However, cleaning out the mesh "baskets" is difficult and nasty. Also, even with an extra hose swivel and extra effort to bleed out all the air from the unit, it still does not stay on the pool bottom 1/3 of the time.
