The 280 is one of the best units out there. It would be a bit better if it had more rugged wheels to climb in natural pools.

The system is easy to install. It cleans dirt off the pool bottom and walls. Of course it also collects all the tree trash on the bottom of the pool.

This my 5th Polaris 280. There is no difference that I can see in the design, but for some reason each has had a successively shorter life.

The newer bags are not holding up at all. My pool gets little to no debris yet the sides tear monthly

My pool already had a pressure side pump and cleaner, but I researched other models to replace my many-years old 280. After reading a lot of reviews, I decide the best bang for the buck was to stick with the 280. I found it on sale at a local pool store (well known) and got it all set up.
