Saved money with this easy to install high suction vacuum. As a first time pool owner I was nervous about buying the right vacuum. Excellent Robust Proven Pool Cleaner This is my second purchase of Polaris 280 Hydraulic Jet Pool Vacuum Cleaner after the first one lasted for past 7 long years reliably before it got worn out of it's life. Second brand new one is working great so far for over couple of weeks. Great product and excellent robustness in complete product functionality!
An absolute workhorse... the “Energizer Bunny” of our pool! For reference, we live in gardening zone 9A (upper Gulf coast), with mild winters, HOT summers & our pool is 14,000 gal. We purchased “Oscar” early July 2015. He has run at a minimum of 5-6 hours daily since then... longer in the hot summer months. No maintenance, other than emptying his bag of debris. Easy. Simple. Still going strong. Zero problems. None. Nada. If & when this one needs to be replaced, we would definitely repurchase it in a heartbeat.
Great product. We would buy again ... and have! We just replaced this exact unit with the same one because it had performed so well for over 16 years. We were also encouraged to buy this same model by our pool service stating everything “fancier” than this one is a waste of money. The only negative we’ve found is that the tires sometimes struggle to get traction on the vinyl liner especially when it reaches a corner.
Great! Tired of repairing and replacing parts on the old one? After 11 years it was time to replace it. New one works like new!
